Some of us grow up in church. We learned the songs and stories, but Jesus doesn't become real to us until later. For Marcy, it took the joyful, beautiful life and death of a friend to awaken her to her own relationship with Jesus. Little did she know what would be in store for her. No two people's journeys are alike. We all come from different places and backgrounds, and yet some aspects of our stories find resonance with another's story. Emily grew up in the church but it never really made sense. A winding path away from God and relentless search for truth did eventually bring her back to Jesus.
