Episode 18: Grace Doesn't Always Look Like What You Want It To

Lately, God has been correcting me and showing me the difference between His grace and the consequences of my choices. We hear people say things like “don’t let God’s grace run out”… but I don’t believe His grace runs out. I believe His grace is abundant. However, that doesn’t mean we are exempt from consequences. In this episode, I talk about:The difference between grace and consequencesWhat true repentance actually looks likeWhy “I’m not there yet” can become an excuseThe danger of knowing God but not truly walking with HimAnd what it really means to honor God over your fleshThis is not about fear… it’s about reverence.God is gracious. God is merciful. But we still have a responsibility to grow, obey, and turn away from what we know isn’t right. If you’ve been feeling convicted, stretched, or called higher… this is for you.

    Episode 17: Silence Creates Assumptions

This episode is about honesty. With God.With people. And with yourself.I’m learning how much damage silence can do — not because something actually happened, but because something was never communicated. When we don’t speak, we leave room for assumptions. When we hold things in, we carry what we were meant to release. In this episode, I talk about:• Why honesty is necessary in relationships• How silence can create distance• Showing up consistently, not just conveniently• Identity being rooted in Christ, not people• And how communication can strengthen what miscommunication almost brokeThe truth really does set you free.

Episode: 16 Knowing the Word vs Understanding the Word

This episode is about the difference between knowing God’s Word and actually understanding it.Sometimes we hear things that sound biblical, repeat things we’ve always heard, or even read scripture without truly comprehending what God is saying. But just because something sounds good does not mean it is sound doctrine. In this episode, I talk about how God has been showing me that knowing the Word is one thing, but understanding it is another. I share a few examples of common phrases people say that are not actually biblical in the way we use them, and I also talk about how a sermon and a song completely shifted my understanding of the power of God’s breath. This is your reminder not to just repeat what you heard, not to just read to say you read, but to truly study the Word, seek understanding, and let God reveal His truth to you for yourself.Read it.Understand it.Apply it.

Episode 15: Why Does God Ask Questions?

This episode is simple… but powerful.During a Bible study, I asked a question:If God is all-knowing, why does He ask questions? Why did Jesus ask, “Who touched me?”Why does He speak in ways that seem like He doesn’t already know? And what I realized changed my perspective.God doesn’t ask because He needs answers. He asks so we can see.In this episode, I talk about:• God’s grace in everyday life• Why we don’t always need answers• Learning to trust God even without understanding• Slowing down and recognizing His goodnessSometimes the situation isn’t about information. It’s about revelation.

    Episode 14: Obedience over Feelings

I just got back from a trip, I was tired, and if I’m being honest… I didn’t feel like recording this. But that’s exactly what this episode is about.Sometimes obedience has nothing to do with how you feel. You’re not always going to feel like praying. You’re not always going to feel like showing up.You’re not always going to feel like doing what God is asking you to do.But you still have to choose Him anyway. In this episode, I talk about what it looks like to move beyond your feelings and walk in obedience — even when it’s inconvenient, uncomfortable, or frustrating.Feelings are real, but they are not always truth.Choose God tired.Choose God frustrated.Choose God confused.Just choose Him.

Episode 13: Saying Yes To God Is Harder Than I Thought

God has really been dealing with me in this season.Saying yes to God has been the best decision I have ever made… but it is also one of the hardest.Nobody really talks about what it actually looks like to live that out. To die to your flesh. To surrender your will. To choose obedience even when it does not feel good.God has been showing me me through people, through situations, and through moments that are stretching me in ways I don’t always like. It’s uncomfortable. It requires more than I always feel like giving. But it’s necessary. And even in the hard moments… I’m learning to count it all as a blessing. If you are in a season where God is requiring more of you, stretching you, or calling you higher… this is for you. What is God trying to show you right now? 🤍

Episode 12: Be Present | Trusting God in the Middle of It All

In this episode, we talk about learning to be present and trusting God in the middle of life’s uncertainties.Sometimes life doesn’t look how we expected. We find ourselves in seasons of waiting, transition, or even disappointment. But even in those moments, God is still good. This episode is a reminder to slow down, reflect on God’s track record, and find gratitude in where you are right now. Through personal reflection and real-life experiences, we explore what it looks like to trust God even when people let us down, when life feels uncertain, and when things don’t make sense. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to trust Him.

Episode 11: Religion vs Relationship | It's Always Been About the Heart

In this episode, we talk about the difference between religion and relationship when it comes to following God.It's easy to get caught up in rules, traditions, and appearances, but Jesus constantly challenged the Pharisees because their hearts were far from God even though they followed the law.Through scripture and personal reflection, we explore how faith was never meant to be about performance or perfect rule-keeping. God desires a genuine relationship with us, not just religious behavior. This episode dives into what it means to walk with God from the heart, avoid becoming modern-day Pharisees, and understand why love and compassion have always been at the center of God's design. If you've ever struggled with feeling like faith is just a list of rules, this conversation will remind you that God has always wanted your heart first.Stay blessed 🤍

Episode 10 : Just Because You Can Doesn't Mean You Should

In this episode, I reflect on how much I’m learning about God — and about myself — through this season of growth. One of the biggest things God is teaching me right now is that just because we have the freedom to do something doesn’t mean we should do it. True wisdom is learning to let discernment lead instead of our desires. We talk about:• Recognizing how much we truly depend on God• The difference between having grace and misusing grace• Letting the Holy Spirit lead instead of our flesh• Learning restraint, humility, and discernment• Trusting God through seasons of pruning and growthGod doesn’t leave us the way He found us. He loves us enough to mold us, correct us, and draw us closer to Him — even when the process is uncomfortable. This episode is a reminder to pause, reflect on how good God has been, and remember that His grace is a gift we should never take for granted.

    Episode 9: Stop Hiding

This episode is about coming out of hiding.Sometimes we think our purpose is tied to a job, a title, or an achievement. But what if our purpose is simply to serve God wherever we are planted? In this episode, I share a moment that reminded me that obedience matters — even when it feels small. You never know who or what your obedience is connected to.God doesn’t force Himself into our lives. He invites us to be vulnerable with Him. And when we stop hiding — from God and from others — He can use us in ways we never expected.Your occupation is not your purpose.Your purpose is to love God, serve others, and live for Him.And you can’t do that if you’re hiding.

Episode 8: Attached to the Source

This episode dives into Proverbs 3:1–15 and what it means to truly live the Word of God.Meditating on and applying God’s Word brings life and peace. Loving others regardless of how they love you reflects the heart of God. And trusting Him with all your heart means choosing His will over your own understanding.Sometimes God isn’t trying to change your situation — He’s trying to change you. Because if your circumstances shift but your character doesn’t, growth never happens. We also unpack the powerful imagery in Proverbs 3:7–8 — “health to your navel and marrow to your bones” — and what it means to stay spiritually attached to God as your source of life and strength. And in Proverbs 3:13–15, we’re reminded that wisdom herself is more valuable than silver, gold, or rubies. Nothing you desire compares to wisdom. She is the true treasure. This episode is about alignment, teachability, trusting God beyond logic, and choosing wisdom over impulse.Stay attached to the Source.Choose wisdom. And let God shape you from the inside out

Episode 7: We Weren't Meant to Do Life Alone Pt2 | God Loved Me Through Them

This episode is about community.About what happens when you finally let yourself be seen. About shifting where your vulnerability is going. About realizing you don’t have to carry everything alone.Being vulnerable didn’t change my situation — it changed me. It softened my heart. It reminded me that community isn’t optional. It’s essential. This conversation is for anyone learning to build intentional community, create safe places to land, and allow themselves to be fully known.🎙️ World Meets God — where real life meets real faith.

Episode 6: We Weren't Meant to Do Life Alone

Putting yourself back out there after being hurt is scary. It’s vulnerable. It’s uncomfortable. And for many of us, protecting ourselves can start to look like withholding love altogether. In this episode of World Meets God, I talk honestly about navigating community after pain — learning the balance between healthy boundaries and building walls, between discernment and fear, between protecting your heart and shrinking who God created you to be.I share how God has been teaching me that true community starts with Him. How the way God loves us — patiently, faithfully, and unconditionally — becomes the blueprint for how we love others. Even when people are imperfect. Even when it’s hard. This episode is about learning to love again without watering yourself down, about rising above offense and fear, and about building genuine, life-giving community rooted in Christ. If you’ve ever struggled with community, trust, or vulnerability after being hurt, this conversation is for you.

  14. 8

Episode 5: Jesus Had Boundaries Too

We often associate boundaries with distance, rejection, or a lack of love — but Jesus Himself modeled healthy boundaries. In this episode of World Meets God, we talk about what it means to love people well without giving everyone the same level of access. From the crowds, to the twelve, to Peter, James, and John — Jesus showed us that boundaries are not unloving, they’re wise.Jesus didn’t force people to follow Him, explain Himself to everyone, or give everyone access to the most vulnerable parts of His heart. This episode is for anyone learning how to set healthy boundaries, even when it’s hard — and finding freedom in loving the way Jesus did.

  15. 7

Episode 4: Seeing God Beyond the Circumstances

Sometimes God is closer than we realize — but our focus on the storm keeps us from seeing Him.In this episode, I talk about what happens when our circumstances feel louder than God’s presence. From the road to Emmaus to Peter walking on water, Scripture reminds us that faith isn’t about understanding everything — it’s about trusting God even when logic says it doesn’t make sense. When we take our eyes off Jesus and fix them on fear, we begin to sink. But the beauty is this: God’s grace is sufficient, and His hand is always close enough to catch us.This episode is an invitation to lift your eyes, trust God beyond what you see, and remember that He is good — even here.

Episode 3 : Obedience over Outcome

Sometimes I’m obedient.I’m kind. I’m patient. I’m gentle. I do what God asks me to do.And still… the outcome isn’t what I expected. In this episode of World Meets God, I talk honestly about learning that obedience was never about the outcome — it was always about what God was doing in me. The pruning. The refining. The shaping. The growth that happens when the result doesn’t go the way I hoped. There were moments I prayed, cried, and asked God “why?”And what He showed me was that outcomes belong to Him — but obedience shapes us.This episode is about trusting God even in uncertainty, not leaning on our own understanding, abiding in Him, and believing that His strength is made perfect in our weakness.Because when I look back, it was the outcomes that didn’t work out that helped make me who I am today.🎙️ World Meets GodNew episodes weekly 🤍

    Episode 2: Forgiveness in Process

Forgiveness is not denial. And healing is not permission to stop loving well.In this episode of World Meets God, I talk honestly about what it looks like to forgive while still healing — and how pain can explain our struggle without excusing our behavior.God allows us space to heal, but He still calls us to love with intention. Some days obedience is easier than others, but obedience is still the goal. This is something I am actively walking out, not speaking from perfection — just faith, honesty, and surrender.🎙️ World Meets GodNew episodes weekly 🤍“Healing takes time, but love still requires intention.”✨ If this resonates with you, I’d love for you to listen, reflect, and share.

Episode 1: Breaking the spirit of offense

In this first episode; I talk about the spirit of offense; how it shows up, how it distorts perception, and how easily correction can feel like rejection when our heart posture isn't right. this episode is a real time reflection on discernment, accountability, and learning to receive truth without shutting down. It's about recognizing when offense is blocking growth and choosing peace, humility, and clarity instead. If you've ever struggled with feeling misunderstood, defensive, or hurt when truth was spoken in love, this episode is for you. My prayer is that this conversation helps you check you heart, release offense, and walk forward with greater peace and awareness
