The Graduation Experience
Summary In this conversation, Martha Wright shares a personal experience from her daughter's graduation, using it as a metaphor for overcoming fear and taking action in life. She reflects on a young girl who was hesitant to step onto an escalator, drawing parallels to how people often feel stuck in their lives due to fear. Martha emphasizes the importance of faith, support, and taking the first step towards change, encouraging listeners to seek help and trust in God as they navigate their own challenges.takeawaysThe experience at the graduation highlighted the rush of life.Fear can paralyze us, just like the little girl on the escalator.Sometimes we need help to overcome our fears.God has plans for us, but we must take action.People often pass by those in need without offering help. It's important to recognize when we are stuck in fear.We should pray for guidance and support in our lives.Taking the first step can lead to unexpected outcomes. We must trust in God to guide us through challenges.Change can be scary, but it's necessary for growth.titlesOvercoming Fear: A Lesson from a GraduationThe Escalator of Life: Taking the First StepSound Bites"It's time to make that move.""Take the first step.""I love you and be blessed."Chapters00:00 The Graduation Experienceovercoming obstacles05:40 Overcoming Fear and Taking Action

Wandering Mindset
Wandering Mindset- A mind that is easily distracted, unfocused, and prone to drifting away from God's will or important tasks. It can manifest as a lack of focus when you're studying thee Bible, praying, or just staying grounded in the present moment, as well as God's purpose for you. Wandering thoughts can hinder spiritual growth: 1. Drift from God's word. 2. Promote lack of focus in prayer. 3. Lead to temptation and sin 4. Cause distractions Biblical Examples of Wandering Mindsets 1. The Israelites in the Wilderness ( Exodus, Numbers, Deuteronomy) 2. Peter's Denial to Jesus (Luke 22:54-62) 3. The Prodigal Son ( Luke 15:11-32) 4. Cain and Abel (Genesis 4:8-16) Pointers: 1. Renew your mind daily. (Romans 12:2) 2. Practice Spiritual Discipline 3.Seek Gods guidance 4. Find accountability When you first notice these wandering thoughts, take them captive immediately. Taking captive means to recognize that they are there. Pray and ask God for guidance and His plans for you for that day. If they become to unbearable, please seek help, either physically or spiritually.

Strongholds---"Get Out Of Your Head"
We have too take control of our thoughts and to manage our mindset. Once the enemy gets you to question what God says, his next move is to wear you out in your mind until you doubt who you are. 2 Corinthians 10:5-'We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.'What are strongholds? A stronghold is a mental, emotional, or spiritual fortress. A system of thinking that resists the truth of God.Examples of strongholds:InsecurityRejectionReligious LegalismUnforgivenessFear of FailureHow strongholds are built:A wound happensA lie is plantedA lie gets repeatedYou agree with itIt becomes a fortressHow to break Strongholds:Recognize the lieReplace it with truth.Rehearse the truth dailyReinforce with Community and PrayerRef. 'Why Can't I Hear From God?'
Many of us feel as is we can never hear from God. Why do God speak to others and never speak to me? That's a mindset that's a total lie from the enemy. God speaks to each of us in different ways? Do you believe God speaks to you? Here are some of the ways God speaks:Still small voice. ( 1 Kings 19: 12-13)God's word & the Holy Spirit. ( John 1:1; Heb. 4:12; 2 Timothy 3:16; Jeremiah 15:16)PeopleDreams & Visions. (Acts 18: 9-10)Nature. PrayerEvents & Circumstances in our livesProphecy. ( Heb. 1:1-2)Inner witness. (Exodus 20:19)ConfirmationMany times we look at these things as pure coincidences, when it is God trying to get our attention and speaking to us so that we can hear what He's saying to us.There may be a few things that's blocking you from hearing from God:To much noiseBusynessNot reading the WordSecond guessing ourselvesExpecting God to show up the way you want Him to show upOnly listening to what you want to hear.Pray this:I let go of the mindset that says "God never speaks to me". I receive God's promises that says " He will never leave me nor will He forsake me." I understand that God is training me to hear His voice, so I will not discount myself on how He's speaking to me. I stand upon God's word in Proverbs 4, as He tells me to, "take hold of my words with all your heart; keep His commands and you will live.(vs 4). "Listen my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many.(vs 10) All throughout this chapter, you instruct me Father that I am your child, and you want me to listen and to hear what you are saying. I receive your grace and will make every effort to listen and to hear from you because you speak freely to all who are willing to receive. Thank you for being such a loving Father. In Jesus nameAmen

That's Just Who I Am
Today's Mindset Challenge will be a little different. We will be referencing from the book of Acts, Chapter 9. I want you to put yourself in this story. To help you understand what's happening, there was persecution sweeping over the church in Jerusalem. Saul, who was a man against God's teaching was going everywhere to destroy the church. He went from house to house dragging out both men and women to throw them into prison.Read Acts Chapter 9Pointers:Jesus knows your every move and your every thought. (vs.3)Jesus will meet you right where you are. (vs. 5-6)Those around you may not understand your change. (vs. 7-8)Jesus will bring you to your knees to a posture of prayer.Jesus will put the right people in your place at the right time. (vs.13-14)God has chosen you as the chosen one to take His message to others.Say and Pray this:Father, I thank you that I am changing right at this moment. Thank you for revealing it to me that I can change. I no longer will speak the words of, "that's just who I am', without first understanding what you say about me in your word. I am now being transformed from my negative thinking. In 1 Corinthians 15:10, it says, But by the grace of God "I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. Thank you Father that your grace makes me who I am.In Jesus mighty name,Amen

Mindset Fast-Day 1--- ONE DAY
Greetings everyone. I would like to introduce to you once again a 'mindset fast' that I followed about 2 years ago. I attempted back then to share it on my podcast, but unfortunately I didn't follow through to the end of giving the contents that were needed. This fast was taught by Pastor Gregory Dickow as a 40 Day Mindset Fast. (A link of his youtube channel will be posted at the bottom of this page for your interest). Pastor Dickow teaches how to fast, not from food, but wrong thoughts that can limit us and rob us from our God-given inheritance. With so much going on in the world today, it sometimes becomes a challenge to keep our thoughts clear. So many distractions, negativity, divisions, all that we are aware will happen, but what are we doing to overpower these thoughts. The word of God tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:5- 'We break down every thought and proud thing that puts itself up against the wisdom of God. We take hold of every thought and make it obey Christ.' Join me as we dive into changing negative thoughts. We will discuss what the negative thoughts may be. How to recognize them right away, and steps to rid them from our thinking patterns. You may need to work on a particular one more than once until you receive your breakthrough. It's all up to you. Go at your own pace. The goal is to allow God to help you break the negative thinking and to restore you with His thoughts and His love toward you. I'm looking forward to doing this mindset fast with you, and hearing your stories, sharing your concerns and moving forward into greater levels. Let's get started! Much love, Martha (wRightway Living and Transformation) https://youtu.be/mLuDMEjDA1U?si=io7kDPDdhUiGF95v c/o Gregory Dickow Ministries Chicago, IL 60680 United States
