Threads of Hope Experience | Parents and Caregivers
Tell us what you thinkBehind every teen who walks through the Threads of Hope Experience is a parent or caregiver carrying the daily responsibility of providing, guiding, and supporting. For many families in Sacramento County, clothing is not always a simple purchase. Budgets are tight and priorities stack up quickly. School clothes, shoes, and everyday essentials can become another pressure on top of everything else families are already managing. The Threads of Hope Experience was created to ease some of that pressure.Instead of receiving a bag of clothes, youth step into a boutique style environment where they can choose items that fit their style, try things on, and walk out with confidence. Volunteers walk alongside them, helping them find pieces that feel right and reminding them they are seen and valued. In this episode, you will hear directly from parents and caregivers.
