"Don't burn bridges" is an outdated cliché

We’ve all been told to keep our connections intact no matter what. But what if holding onto a toxic relationship or a professional connection that hurt you is costing you more than cutting it ever would? In this episode, we challenge the “don’t burn bridges” rule and explore when walking away is actually the healthiest and most self-respecting move you can make. We break down the three levels of bridge burning, from going full nuclear to the silent disappearing act, and help you figure out which approach fits your situation.Because sometimes, burning a bridge isn’t about revenge. It’s about clarity.🎧 Listen to the full podcast “You’re Worth Knowing” where we unpack how toxic beliefs and social conditioning keep us small, and how to unlearn them one story at a time.📰Sign up for my newsletter: You’re Worth Knowing📷Find me on Instagram: Instagram⏰TikTok is where it’s at: TikTok🖱️Check out the website: Roxana Claudia This is a public episode. Unleash your inner Mr. Bean

When we squash our inner child, when we duct-tape their mouth shut and slap on the “serious adult” mask… we don’t just lose playfulness. We lose our joy. And we lose a huge piece of who we actually are.And that’s something Mr. Bean would never do. He’d advise us to act as silly as we possibly can, with the biggest grin on our faces to top it all off. And I think it’s high time someone takes a page out of his book.
