Lyndsey Copeland did an interview with Kevin and Taylor in the Morning at 104.7 the Fish. They talked about her run to Opelika, AL from Athens, GA in an effort to raise shoes for the children of Reynosa, Mexico. It was a pretty cool interview, and since Lyndsey helps me out with my youth group, I thought I should post this here. Here we break down the words "mission", "missions", "co", "the great commission" and we begin to see how it is a partnering with God that is indeed our command and duty. We are indeed His helpers in this divine nature of bringing others close to Him

Here we look at the idea of surrender and the thought of no longer having control. As we go through Philippians 2:1--11 we see the Christ surrendered His all and calls for us to do the same for God's will.

Here we look at when God reveals His name to Moses saying that He is "I am." God is everything and we are not. We are not in control of anything. Here we look at Exodus 3 and realize that I am not, but I know I am.

Here we look at God's invitation to be a part of His story. We must realize how small we are and how Big He is...and then accept that invitation to be a part of the eternal story of God.

Here we look at how God sometimes uses pain and what we think is let down in our lives to shape us into exactly who He wants us to be.

Here we look at how to deal with what we've done. Setting up reminders along the way to help us remember, but keeping our focus on the future and all God has in store.

As we look at the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, we try to discern how we can have faith...even through the fire.
