DRAWN TO THE CROSS

THE GOD WE ARE SEEKING What WE (You and I) say, 'it is time/it is not time' goes a way determining our actions; the truth says, putting first things yields much bountifulness and genuine happiness. "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, all these things shall be added unto you" (Matt. 6:33).

ZEAL FOR GOOD WORKS Good comes for God; yes, seeing God equals not doing evil. Therefore, repay no one evil for evil; do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good; and, do not let your good be spoken of ad evil!

MENDING RELATIONSHIPS All forms of our relationships - physical/earthly and spiritual will at one time or the other face testing, but we are responsible for taking actions to ensure that hurts, bitterness or sourness are healed and mended. We do this by avoiding fights and quarrels, mind our attitudes of grudge, anger, hate, envy, jealousy, gossip and so on, thereby becoming good listeners of God Almighty.

THE TRUTH DISCOVERY JOURNEY The truth (the only one there is) is to acknowledge that Jesus Christ came into the world and died for the sins of the whole world, to walk in truth is to love, to walk in love is to keep God's command - the only truth there is.

PREREQUISITES FOR GOD'S SERVICE The best way to appreciate God Almighty for the grace and privilege to witness yet another year, a new year (2024) is none other than to be dedicated to His service; therefore, it is worthwhile to be reminded the most basic requirements for this is repentance and worthy speech. WISDOM FOR UNDERSTANDING THE LORD'S DISCIPLINE My son, do not despise the LORD'S discipline or be weary of his reproof, for the LORD reproves him whom he loves as a father the son in whom he delights.

THE ADVANTAGES OF UNITY We portray unity when we: allow for sanctification through God's Word and abide in Christ Jesus; agree in mind and judgment, avoiding quarrels and preference of personalities knowing that these are only servants; accept eagerly the basis of doctrine of unity in the body of Christ; assimilate Christ's example of humility leading to glory and exaltation.

THE ADVANTAGES OF UNITY Unity is not just good and pleasant, it is God Almighty's Will that all believers be united for this prayer of Christ Jesus Our Lord ought to be answered by the Father (Cf. Jn. 17.20-26).

THE MIND OF CHRIST Christ Jesus is everything that God is, yet through it all he is determined purposefully. God Almighty wants to have the mind of Christ; of course, we have the mind of Christ (Cf. 1 Cor. 2.16).

God's anger will be meted out on the day He has appointed, unknown to you and I. Good news, we are allowed to secure shelter on that day in these three ways. Listen to learn!
