This week, Pierre McGuire met with Colgate men's hockey sophomore forward Simone Dadiè. A native of the picturesque ski town of Cortina, Italy. Dadiè details his journey from playing in the Dolomites to attending an academy in Austria, eventually making the jump to North American juniors in the NAHL and BCHL. The interview highlights his recruitment by Coach Harder to Colgate University, his connection to Italian legend and Colgate alum Thomas Larkin, and his perspective on the growing hockey culture in Italy ahead of the upcoming Olympics. Dadiè also shares insights on his "Pops" nickname and the academic rigors of being an Economics major.

This week on ECAC Hockey: Decision Makers, Pierre McGuire interviews Harvard hockey legend Scott Fusco ('86) about his remarkable career and impact on the game. Fusco is an two-time ECAC Player of the Year, a two-time All-American, and the only player to share the prestigious Hobey Baker Award with his brother, Mark, winning it in 1986. As Harvard's all-time scoring leader, Fusco saw his journey go from prep school to two U.S. Olympic Teams (1984 & 1988). Beyond his playing days—which earned him a spot in the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame in 2002, Fusco now has a substantial impact on the sport as the founder of the East Coast Wizards, where he serves as President of one of the largest girls' hockey programs in North America, and as Commissioner of the New England Girls Hockey League.
