Chapter 10 of "What is Man? Perhaps fearing a further assassination attempt by the Jews, the authorities place him in solitary confinement, where he uses his chains to witness to guards and spread the gospel in Caesar's otherwise inaccessible household.Thus he fulfils God's promise that he would preach to Kings and gentiles as well as to the house of Israel (Acts 9:15).

If you made an unfulfilled promise, how long would it be before you forgot it altogether? A month? A year? But God made a promise to Eve and repeated it through the ages to Abraham, Job, Moses, David, the Prophets and to John the Baptist. Now, in the fulness of time, He announces to Mary its impending fulfilment in the birth of Christ. It was an announcement that would change the world.
