As Jesus’ ministry begins we see how he is tempted by the devil

Line upon line precept upon precept.We are now in chapter 2 moving to chapter 3

In the concluding verses,we see how John is not only a miracle child the fore runner of Jesus but also we see how his coming opens prophetic doors .Listen!

We take things further this week by delving into more verses it’s interesting to see that truly with God nothing is impossible.

The Paradox here is clearly seen-Eli is a great dad to Samuel but a bad dad to Hophni & Phinehas.He overlooked their excesses-he warned but we didn’t set up structure.Training starts from childhood.His sons had no fear of God.Samuel turned out to be an amazing prophet because Eli taught him to discern the voice of God early.

Abraham comes to mind as a successful dad .17-19 Then God said, “Shall I keep back from Abraham what I’m about to do? Abraham is going to become a large and strong nation; all the nations of the world are going to find themselves blessed through him. Yes, I’ve settled on him as the one to train his children and future family to observe God’s way of life, live kindly and generously and fairly, so that God can complete in Abraham what he promised him.”

The believer in Christ has no business with taking life lessons from the world.

Kingdom priority.Kingdom must come first.Placing other things before the Kingdom is wrong and counter productive.

The family altar is the place where we make our children.The family altar is not an old school idea that should be treated with lightly.

To have the best of the Kingdom,we MUST INSIST on kingdom culture.In this module,we show you some ways you can insist on kingdom culture.

Kingdom Culture is everything we do to promote the Kingdom.Kingdom Culture is our identity Kingdom Culture is a Jesus & Word & Prayer addiction Kingdom Culture is our priority Kingdom Culture is living within the confines of the wordKingdom culture is not mixing it.Jesus or nothing,Jesus plus nothing.Kingdom culture is no allegiance to the world our allegiance is to Christ Kingdom culture knows that I’m in this world but not of the world.Kingdom culture is promoted by surrounding yourself with the community that fosters your spiritual acceleration.

One of the greatest forces in the world is Prayer .

A structured bible study time fosters discipline & spiritual growth.As kingdom ambassadors,the Word’s priority status is non-negotiable.

1. **Matthew 6:5-6 (NIV):** - "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you." 2. **James 4:3 (NIV):** - "When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures." - *This verse highlights the importance of the intentions behind prayer. Prayer should come from pure motives, not selfish desires or a wish to manipulate outcomes.*3. **1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (NIV):** - "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs." - *This description of love is a reminder that prayer, when done in love, should not be self-seeking or harmful to others.*4. **Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV):** - "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." - *This passage encourages prayer to be a source of peace and connection with God, rather than a way to control situations or people.*5. **Luke 6:28 (NIV):** - "Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you." - *This teaching from Jesus emphasizes praying with a spirit of blessing, even for those who may not treat us well, rather than using prayer as a means of retaliation or judgment.*

The Word gives us hope.We must prioritize the Word.Memory verse to meditation.
