    S2. Ep 8 w/ Jeff Hambrect

From Self-Inflicted Suffering to Surrender — Addiction, Identity & Radical Redemption with Jeff Hambrecht This episode is not about a fall from grace. It’s about what happens when you finally stop outrunning God. In this deeply raw and unfiltered conversation, Angela Goodman sits down with Jeff Hambrecht — a former elite athlete whose life spiraled through addiction, identity loss, infidelity, and complete emotional shutdown… despite coming from a strong, successful upbringing. Jeff shares how his struggles weren’t caused by what happened to him — but by what he refused to face. From losing his identity after injury… to becoming addicted to painkillers… to living a double life… to being served divorce papers and facing the possibility of losing his children… Everything changed in a single moment of surrender. Not when life got easier. But when he finally said: “I can’t do this without You.” What follows is a story of radical obedience, supernatural healing, and rebuilding a life from nothing — grounded fully in faith. This episode will challenge the way you think about: responsibility identity addiction and what it really means to surrender 💡 Lessons Learned Not all suffering is inflicted on you—some of it is created by what you avoid Identity tied to performance will collapse when the performance is taken away Addiction isn’t always visible—it often hides behind success You can look “fine” externally and be completely broken internally Rock bottom isn’t always destruction—it can be divine intervention God doesn’t always remove the struggle—He walks you through it Obedience unlocks doors faster than intention ever will You don’t need a perfect past to step into purpose Vulnerability isn’t weakness—it’s the doorway to impact When God calls, delay creates distance 🎁 The Gift of This Episode The gift of this episode is radical responsibility + hope. It reminds you that: You are not stuck because of your past You are not disqualified because of your mistakes And you are not too far gone to rebuild But it also holds a mirror up and asks: 👉 Where are you still avoiding truth in your own life? Because transformation doesn’t begin when life changes. It begins when you do. ____________________________________________________________ WHO IS JEFF HAMBRECT? Born and raised in Des Moines, IA. From growing up as a pastor’s kid… to navigating pride, conviction, success, anxiety, and spiritual warfare—Rob shares what it actually looks like to walk with God over a lifetime. This is not a polished, perfect story. This is a real conversation about: questioning God saying “this isn’t fair” battling anxiety even after massive wins and learning to trust God anyway One of the most powerful moments? When Angela asks: 👉 “What does God say when you tell Him it’s not fair?” And Rob’s answer… “He reminds me that He’s God… and I’m not.” This episode will challenge you, ground you, and remind you that: ✨ Faith doesn’t mean life is easy ✨ Favor doesn’t mean you won’t be tested ✨ And the closer you get to your calling… the more resistance you may feel 💡 Lessons Learned Faith doesn’t eliminate struggle—it gives you context for it Spiritual warfare often shows up right after breakthrough God’s “no” is often protection—not punishment You don’t need all the answers—you need trust Comparison (especially through social media) creates unnecessary pressure Anxiety doesn’t disqualify you—it’s something you learn to walk through What you do now will echo into your future God may not just open doors—He may move you into entirely new hallways You can’t let what happened to you stop what God wants to do through you 🎁 The Gift of This Episode The gift of this episode is perspective. It reminds you that: even people with deep faith still struggle even successful people still question even “favored” people still fight battles And yet… 👉 God is still present 👉 God is still guiding 👉 God is still working Even when it doesn’t feel fair. ____________________________________________________________ WHO IS ROB PATZ? S2. Ep. 6 w/ Michelle Jacobik

Faith, Surrender & Quantum Expansion: Walking with God in Business and Life with Michelle Jacobik In this powerful episode of EVOLVE thru God, Angela Goodman sits down with entrepreneur, financial expert, and faith-driven leader Michelle Jacobik to explore what it truly looks like to walk with God… not just in life—but in business. Michelle shares her deeply personal journey—from growing up in a traditional Catholic household to feeling a profound disconnect from fear-based faith, and ultimately rediscovering her relationship with God on her own terms. Her story is one of seeking, questioning, surrendering… and ultimately trusting God’s guidance even when it doesn’t make logical sense. From raising her children with a spiritual foundation, to navigating her daughter’s health crisis, to being divinely led into her life’s work in financial transformation—Michelle’s journey is filled with undeniable moments of God’s orchestration. And perhaps most powerfully, she reveals how God continues to show up in her business today: ✨ Through intuition ✨ Through relationships ✨ Through bold, faith-led action ✨ And through opportunities that can only be described as divine alignment This episode is a reminder that: 👉 You don’t have to have it all figured out 👉 You just have to stay in relationship Because when you do… God will handle the rest. 💡 Lessons Learned Faith is a relationship—not a set of rules. A fear-based view of God can block true connection. God often reveals your path through life’s hardest moments. Surrender is where clarity begins. You don’t need to understand the plan—you need to trust it. Your calling will often find you before you’re ready. God works through people, opportunities, and timing. Business can be a spiritual assignment—not just a career. Judgment from others is not your truth—discern and release it. When you align with God, expansion becomes inevitable. 🎁 The Gift of This Episode The gift of this episode is permission to trust your path—even when it doesn’t make sense. If you’ve ever: questioned your faith felt disconnected from organized religion struggled to balance business and spirituality or wondered if God is really guiding your life… This conversation will remind you: ✨ God has always been working behind the scenes ✨ Nothing in your life is accidental ✨ And your path is unfolding exactly as it should 👉 Your job is not to control it… your job is to trust it.   ______________________________________________________________ WHO IS MICHELLE JACOBIK? S2. Ep. 5 w/ Andelina Storm

Sanity in the Storm: Faith, Anxiety, and Finding God at 9 Years Old with Andelina Storm In this powerful and deeply moving episode of EVOLVE thru God, Angela Goodman sits down with her youngest guest yet — author, speaker, and mental health advocate Andelina “Storm” Grossi. At just 20 years old, Storm carries a level of wisdom that can only come from walking through real pain… and choosing faith anyway. Her journey with God began at just nine years old, in the middle of overwhelming fear, anxiety, and OCD triggered by the loss of her grandfather. What started as prayers rooted in fear eventually transformed into a relationship rooted in trust, peace, and unwavering faith. But her story doesn’t stop there. Storm opens up about: Living with OCD, anxiety, depression, and ADHD Experiencing a spiritual “dry season” where she could no longer feel God The devastating loss of a friend to suicide Hitting emotional rock bottom in college And making the daily decision to choose God over fear Through it all, she discovered something life-changing: 👉 Faith isn’t about always feeling God — it’s about choosing Him even when you can’t. Now, through her book “Sanity in the Storm”, her Podcast, and her advocacy work, Storm is helping others navigate mental health struggles while staying rooted in faith. This episode is a reminder that no matter how heavy life feels… You are not alone. God is not absent. And your story is not over. 💡 Lessons Learned You don’t have to feel God to still be held by Him. Faith that begins in fear can grow into trust. Mental health struggles do not disqualify your faith. Every season — even the darkest — has purpose. Your pain can become your calling. Routine creates stability in unstable seasons. You don’t live with anxiety — anxiety lives with you. The way you speak to yourself shapes your healing. You are most equipped to help the person you used to be. 🎁 The Gift of This Episode The gift of this episode is hope for the overwhelmed soul. If you’ve ever felt: anxious depressed disconnected from God unsure how to keep going This conversation reminds you: ✨ You can keep going ✨ You are still called ✨ God is still working — even in silence And most importantly: 👉 Put a comma in your story… not a period. ___________________________________________________________ WHO IS ANDELINA "STORM" GROSSI? S2. Ep. 4 w/ Dr. Samantha Harte

From Survival to Safety: Dr. Samantha Harte on Healing, Self-Forgiveness, and Hearing God In this deeply transformative episode of EVOLVE thru God, Angela Goodman sits down with bestselling author, keynote speaker, and trauma-informed physical therapist Dr. Samantha Harte for a conversation that bridges science, soul, and spiritual awakening. Samantha’s story begins in complete disconnection from God. Raised in a household where she was taught that God didn’t exist and that self-reliance was the only option, she entered adulthood driven, high-achieving… and internally fractured. What followed was a life shaped by perfectionism, addiction, shame, and survival patterns that kept her functioning on the outside — but breaking on the inside. It wasn’t until her 30s — after addiction, recovery, and the unraveling of her marriage — that everything cracked open. And that’s where God entered. Not through religion. Not through force. But through safety. Through self-forgiveness. Through compassion. Through learning how to separate herself from her shame. This episode explores the profound connection between trauma, nervous system regulation, identity, and our ability to hear God. Inside this conversation: • Why you cannot access God when you feel unsafe • How addiction, perfectionism, and control are survival responses • The difference between shame and self-awareness • What it means to “borrow someone else’s faith” • How self-forgiveness becomes the gateway to spiritual connection • Where science meets soul in the healing process Dr. Harte’s work now lives at the intersection of nervous system safety, trauma healing, and spiritual reconnection — helping people not just fix their lives, but free themselves from suffering. 💡 Lessons Learned You cannot hear God when your nervous system is in survival mode. Safety is the foundation for both healing and spiritual connection. Addiction and perfectionism are not failures — they are survival strategies. Shame keeps you stuck; self-compassion creates movement. You are not your past — you are the one observing it. Self-forgiveness is not optional — it is transformational. You can “borrow faith” until you build your own. Healing is where science meets the soul. Regulation creates reconnection — to yourself and to God. 🎁 The Gift of This Episode The gift of this episode is permission. Permission to stop punishing yourself. Permission to separate from the voice that has been keeping you small. Permission to understand that God was never absent — only harder to hear through the noise of survival. And most importantly: The understanding that healing doesn’t begin with God finding you — it begins with you feeling safe enough to receive Him. Who is Dr. Samantha Harte?

    S2. Ep. 3 w/ Dan "Big D" Sachkowsky

From Rock Bottom to Kingdom Builder: Dan Sachkowsky on Discipline, Deliverance & Divine Direction In this powerful episode of EVOLVE thru God, Angela sits down with entrepreneur, speaker, and men’s mentor Dan Sachkowsky for a conversation that is raw, redemptive, and deeply practical. Dan’s story is not polished — it’s forged. From addiction, poor decisions, and spiritual drift… to radical ownership, faith alignment, and disciplined leadership — Dan shares what it truly takes to rebuild a life anchored in God. This is not a prosperity message. It’s a responsibility message. Dan breaks down how discipline became his bridge from chaos to calling. He speaks openly about masculine identity, accountability, integrity, fatherhood, and why so many men are spiritually asleep — not because they don’t love God, but because they lack structure. This conversation dives into: • The power of daily habits over emotional motivation • Deliverance through discipline • The difference between conviction and shame • Why men need brotherhood, not isolation • How business becomes ministry when aligned with obedience • Rebuilding trust after failure • The cost of lukewarm faith Dan’s transformation didn’t happen overnight. It happened through surrender, structure, and relentless pursuit of spiritual maturity. And that is what makes this episode so powerful. 💡 Lessons Learned Discipline is deliverance in action. Conviction leads forward — shame keeps you stuck. You cannot out-pray poor habits. Brotherhood is essential for masculine growth. Godly leadership starts at home. Your past mistakes do not cancel your future assignment. Structure protects your calling. Faith without obedience remains stagnant. 🎁 The Gift of This Episode The gift of this episode is clarity. Clarity that transformation isn’t emotional — it’s intentional. Clarity that men of God are built through accountability, not isolation. Clarity that your rock bottom might actually be your reset button. If you’ve been drifting, stuck, or spiritually inconsistent — this episode will challenge you and call you higher. _________________________________ WHO IS DAN SACHKOWSKY?   Dan “Big D” Sachkowsky is an entrepreneur, business mentor, and business strategist known for helping driven entrepreneurs break through plateaus and scale their companies to the next level. He is the founder and host of the Seven Figure Blueprint Syndicate, a coast to coast mastermind and live event series that brings together serious business owners who are committed to growth, leadership, and building real wealth. Through his mentorship and events across the East Coast and West Coast, he works directly with business owners to eliminate bottlenecks, build stronger leadership, and create companies that operate beyond the owner. Dan is also the host of the Big D Podcast, where he delivers raw, unfiltered conversations on leadership, discipline, mindset, faith, and the realities of building success under pressure. His message resonates because it comes from lived experience navigating adversity, making hard decisions, and continuing to push forward when the stakes are high.   Known for his relentless work ethic and no excuses mentality, Dan has built his brand around resilience, accountability, and execution. His mission is simple: help entrepreneurs stop playing small, take ownership of their lives, and build businesses, families, and legacies that outlive them.

    S2. Ep. 2 w/ Sara Dawn Birchmier

From Addiction, Abuse, and Church Hurt to Purpose and Power — Sara Birchmier’s Redemption Story In this raw and redemptive episode of EVOLVE thru God, Angela Goodman sits down with trauma-informed coach and transformational mentor Sara Birchmier for a conversation that is as vulnerable as it is victorious. Sara’s story is not one of surface-level struggle. It’s a testimony forged through generational trauma, addiction, abuse, church betrayal, suicidal ideation, new age deception, and ultimately — radical restoration in Christ. Raised in a home marked by addiction and abuse, Sara encountered Jesus as a child — yet found herself spiraling into drugs, street life, toxic relationships, postpartum depression, and devastating church hurt. Even while walking with God, she endured unimaginable loss, betrayal, and identity fractures. But God never left. From IV meth addiction and suicidal despair to supernatural intervention, freedom from witchcraft and new age practices, and complete healing from diagnosed mental illness — Sara’s life is a living declaration of sanctification in motion. This episode dives deep into: Trauma and the nervous system Religious trauma and legalism Sanctification as neurological and spiritual rewiring Relationships as containers for healing Breaking generational iniquity Integrating truth, science, and the finished work of the cross Sara now walks fully free — off medication, out of addiction, emotionally regulated, spiritually aligned — helping others discover their purpose by healing their trauma through Christ-centered transformation. 💡 Lessons Learned Jesus will meet you in the darkest places — even drug houses. Sanctification is a process, not an overnight miracle. Healing requires humility and ownership. Your soul carries trauma — your spirit carries truth. Religious trauma can wound deeply, but it does not invalidate Christ. Relationships are containers designed to expose and refine what still needs healing. Between your test and your testimony is a choice. Idols must be removed before identity can be restored. You are not your diagnosis. Healing is both spiritual and neurological. 🎁 The Gift of This Episode The gift of this conversation is hope. Hope that no level of trauma disqualifies you. Hope that even when you are fractured, Jesus is near. Hope that mental illness, addiction, rage, shame, and generational bondage are not permanent identities. And perhaps most powerful of all: The reminder that your deepest wounds may become your clearest calling.

    S2. Ep. 1 w/ Dr. David Shapiro

From Orthodox Judaism to Doctor of Theology: Dr. David Shapiro’s Radical Encounter with Jesus Season 2 of EVOLVE thru God opens with a powerful and deeply personal testimony from Dr. David Shapiro — a former Orthodox Jewish atheist, professional fighter, and military veteran whose life was radically transformed by a single moment of divine conviction. Born and raised in an Orthodox Jewish community in New York, David struggled with dyslexia, identity, and belonging from an early age. Feeling disconnected from faith, he rejected God altogether and spent years silencing internal pain through noise — fighting, extreme sports, and achievement. But everything changed the day he walked into a church for the first time. What followed was nothing short of miraculous: in one week, David — who struggled to read most of his life — read the entire Bible cover to cover and understood it. That encounter set him on a path that would lead to earning a Doctorate in Religious Education and dedicating his life to bridging apologetics, evangelism, and compassionate leadership. This conversation explores forgiveness, silence, identity, and the profound truth that God often stretches us before He restores us. 💡 Lessons Learned God meets us in conviction, not coercion. David’s journey began with a simple internal prompting: “Go to church.” Miracles aren’t always permanent — they’re purposeful. God healed David’s reading ability for one week — long enough to show him truth. Apologetics without empathy misses the mark. People often need a hug more than an argument. Forgiveness is an action, not an emotion. It begins with the decision: “I don’t want to feel this way anymore.” Silence reveals what noise was hiding. Between your test and your testimony is a moment of stillness. God stretches us before He gives us rest. Just like Moses, discomfort often precedes calling. 🎁 The Gift of This Episode A profound reminder that your greatest insecurity can become your greatest calling — and that silence with God is often the birthplace of transformation. If you are in a season of stretching, questioning, or identity rebuilding, this episode will anchor you in hope.   ____________________________________________________________________ WHO IS DR. DAVID SHAPIRO? Dr. David Shapiro grew up Orthodox Jewish, immersed in Scripture, discipline, and tradition. But faith built on performance eventually fractures. Dyslexia made reading Scripture slow and frustrating, yet it also forced David to wrestle deeply with the text rather than skim it. His journey to Jesus wasn’t a moment; it was a breaking. Through the Hebrew Scriptures and hard questions, he encountered Jesus not as a betrayal of his faith, but as its fulfillment. Today, David shares his story for those caught between belief and honesty, showing that surrender, not certainty is where real faith begins.

Ep. 45 Life w/ Rodric Lenhart

Life, Leadership, and Leaving the World Better Than You Found It — with Rodric Lenhart In this expansive and thought-provoking episode of EVOLVE thru God, Angela Goodman sits down with entrepreneur, author, coach, and philanthropist Rodric Lenhart for a deeply honest conversation about spirituality beyond religion, conscious leadership, and why awareness — not ideology — is the missing ingredient in today’s world. Rodric shares his journey from a fear-based religious upbringing to a faith rooted in curiosity, service, and lived experience. Drawing from philosophy, science, business, and spirituality, he and Angela explore the idea that we are spiritual beings having a temporary human experience — and that life itself is a classroom designed to teach us who we truly are. The conversation moves seamlessly from God and synchronicity to entrepreneurship, coaching, and the responsibility leaders have to create environments where people can grow. Rodric also shares the powerful story behind founding Send a Student Leader Abroad (SASLA) — a mission-driven foundation designed to teach young students entrepreneurial skills and global empathy by earning their way to international travel. This episode challenges listeners to stop outsourcing meaning, stop waiting for permission, and start living with intention, discernment, and action — both in business and in life. 💡 Lessons Learned Spirituality doesn’t require religion — God is found in awareness, stillness, and daily practice. There are no coincidences — people enter our lives to teach us something, if we’re paying attention. Leadership is stewardship — whether in business or education, creating space for growth matters. Awareness must be taught early — children need tools for self-knowledge, not just test-taking. Service doesn’t require writing a check — creativity and action can create massive impact. Surrender creates flow — letting go of control allows the right people and opportunities to enter. 🎁 The Gift of the Episode A powerful reminder that your purpose isn’t something you find — it’s something you remember. When you slow down, listen, and act in alignment, life begins to flow with clarity, connection, and meaning. ______________________________________________________________________ WHO IS RODRIC LENHART? Ep. 44 Guided w/ Jen Mentesana

In this heartfelt episode of EVOLVE thru God, Angela Goodman welcomes author, speaker, and coach Jennifer Mentesana for a deeply authentic conversation about rediscovering purpose through faith, surrender, and divine redirection. Jennifer’s story is one of resilience and revelation. After years of success in media and business — and the heartbreaking loss of a restaurant during the pandemic — she found herself at a breaking point, waking in the night with a panic attack that became a spiritual awakening. In that still moment, God spoke: “You already know what to do.” That message reignited the creative spark within her — the performer, the communicator, the little girl who once dreamed of being on stage. Through that divine reminder, Jennifer was led back to her calling: helping others rediscover who they are, remember their God-given gifts, and follow the breadcrumbs toward purpose. From writing her book Guided by Grace to launching her podcast Where Passion Meets Purpose, Jennifer embodies what it means to surrender control, rebuild faith, and walk boldly in divine alignment. Lessons Learned: God speaks when we finally get still. Panic, loss, and silence often precede divine revelation. You already know the answer. God’s whispers are reminders of the truth you’ve buried beneath survival. Surrender is the doorway to provision. When you stop controlling outcomes, you make room for miracles. Your childhood dreams are clues, not coincidences. They’re glimpses of the purpose you came here to fulfill. Faith is a daily decision. It’s not about proof — it’s about trust, even when God seems quiet. The Gift of This Episode: A sacred reminder that God never forgets who you are — even when you do. When you follow the breadcrumbs He leaves, you’ll find your purpose waiting right where you left it. __________________________________________________________________ WHO IS JEN MENTESANA? Jen Mentesana is an entrepreneur, entrepreneurship coach, motivational speaker, podcast host of Where Passion Meets Purpose and author of the bestselling book, “Guided By Grace; Follow the Breadcrumbs to your Life’s True Purpose”, With a heart for transformation and a gift for empowerment, Jen helps women reconnect with their inner compass, align with their values, and live boldly from their gifts to create a life of success and purpose. Ep. 43 Mess"age" w/ Michelle Berman Mikel

In this deeply moving episode of EVOLVE Thru God, Angela Goodman sits down with powerhouse entrepreneur, author, and speaker Michelle Berman-Mikel — a woman whose story of faith, surrender, and resilience reminds us that God often rewrites our lives in ways we could never plan. From walking away from a broken engagement just 80 days before her wedding to rediscovering her identity beyond athleticism and building a faith-filled business, Michelle’s journey is a testament to how God gives us a mess to reveal our message. She shares her transformation from an elite CrossFit athlete to a wife, mother, and spiritual leader alongside her husband, a retired Green Beret. Their story reveals how surrendering to divine redirection can bring healing, purpose, and deeper connection — not only in marriage but in business and calling. Michelle’s courage to speak God’s name boldly from the stage challenges all of us to live our faith out loud, even when the world says to quiet down. This episode will leave you inspired to trust the unseen, release what no longer serves you, and allow God to work miracles in the most unexpected places.   Lessons Learned: Surrender isn’t weakness — it’s alignment. Letting go of what you can’t control allows space for divine redirection. Faith must be lived, not just believed. Your actions, team, and environment should reflect your spiritual alignment. God’s “no” is protection, not rejection. The detours — even painful ones like loss or failure — often lead to deeper purpose. Partnership thrives through shared faith. When both partners surrender individually, they grow stronger together. Your voice carries divine power. God didn’t call you to whisper — He called you to witness.   The Gift of This Episode: A reminder that surrendering control doesn’t diminish your strength — it unlocks your purpose. When you walk by faith, God takes what was broken and turns it into beauty. ____________________________________________________________________ WHO IS MICHELLE BERMAN-MIKEL?   Michelle Berman-Mikel is a nationally recognized keynote speaker, Author of The Black Line, and the founder of Berman Media PD. Ep. 42 Health w/ Georges Cordoba

“Faith Over Fear: How Georges Cordoba Healed Through Surrender, Spirit, and Science” In this miraculous episode of EVOLVE thru God, Angela Goodman welcomes Georges Cordoba — a former CTO, athlete, and cancer survivor whose 10-year battle with malignant melanoma transformed his life, faith, and purpose. What began as a shocking diagnosis became a divine classroom. Georges shares the story of walking through ten surgeries, financial collapse, and four brain tumors — and how his ultimate healing began the moment he surrendered control and trusted God completely. Through prayer, fasting, emotional release, and holistic wellness, Georges discovered that true healing comes not from medicine alone but from the oneness between body, mind, and spirit. His journey is both a testimony and a roadmap — one that shows how faith and science can coexist, and how the human spirit can transcend even the darkest prognosis. 💡 Lessons Learned Healing begins with surrender — when you release control, God begins His work. All disease has emotional roots — unhealed wounds often become physical illness. Faith and medicine can coexist — both serve when led by divine discernment. Service heals the soul — helping others in pain activates your own restoration. The body remembers God’s design — alignment and belief restore balance. Obedience over fear — miracles happen when you trust God’s timing, not your plan. 🎁 The Gift of the Episode ✨ No matter how sick, scared, or broken you feel — God’s healing power already lives within you. Jeffrey opens up about his spiritual walk through the world of business and how God continually redirected his path to align with purpose. They explore ambition, stewardship, and the sacred balance between prosperity and peace. Ep. 40 Manifestation w/ Jen Gottlieb

Faith, Fear, and the Power of Being Seen — with Jen Gottlieb Summary: In this deeply honest episode of EVOLVE thru God, Angela Goodman sits down with powerhouse entrepreneur, author, and Super Connector Media co-founder Jen Gottlieb for a rare conversation about faith, manifestation, and rediscovering purpose. Jen opens up about her Jewish upbringing, her years of striving for validation, and how hitting rock bottom became the foundation for her greatest transformation. From being a Broadway dreamer and VH1 host to building a global personal brand, Jen shares how God guided her through self-doubt, heartbreak, and reinvention — ultimately showing her that co-creating with Him means taking bold, aligned action. Lessons Learned: 🌟 God doesn’t just move when you pray — He moves when you act. 💡 Your spiritual connection doesn’t require a religion; it requires relationship. 💔 Sometimes God removes what’s “perfect on paper” to realign you with purpose. 💭 Faith and manifestation aren’t magic — they’re teamwork between belief and behavior. 🙏 Every season of loss is preparation for your next level of light. The Gift: ✨ The reminder that you don’t have to perform for God — you just have to be seen by Him. When you trust the calling and take action, you co-create miracles.   ___________________________________________________________________ WHO IS JEN GOTTLIEB? Jen Gottlieb is the bold voice behind some of today’s most visible and profitable personal brands. A powerhouse speaker, bestselling author of BE SEEN, and host of The Jen Gottlieb Show, Jen is known for helping entrepreneurs turn their stories into unforgettable brands—and their influence into income. But her stage presence didn’t start in the business world. Jen’s journey began under the lights of Broadway and the cameras of VH1, where she learned how to captivate an audience. Her defining moment came the day she walked away from someone else’s version of success and chose to build her own. That decision catapulted her into entrepreneurship and earned her a place on stages alongside icons like Oprah, Gary Vaynerchuk, and Ed Mylett. As co-founder of Super Connector Media (named “Best New Agency” by the Bulldog Awards), Jen helped thousands of experts get seen in the media and built one of the fastest-growing companies in America—recognized on the INC 5000 list. In 2023, she was named one of the Top 50 Speakers in the world by Real Leaders Magazine. Today, Jen mentors experts, executives, and creators on how to break through resistance, own the room, and become The Recognized Expert in any industry. Her signature frameworks blend high-impact strategy with radical authenticity—helping people not just get attention, but create real transformation. When she’s not speaking on stages or hosting world-class events, you’ll find Jen in South Florida with her husband and business partner Chris, and their three dogs—Teddy, Arthur and Tammie. She still orders like a New Yorker, trains like a Broadway dancer, and believes confidence isn’t something you’re born with—it’s something you build.

Ep. 39 Elevate w/ Angie Manson

In this powerful episode of EVOLVE thru God, Angela Goodman welcomes Angie Manson, who shares her raw and redemptive journey from addiction and jail time to recovery, leadership, and deep spiritual awakening. Angie’s story is a living testimony of how surrender, faith, and trust in God’s timing can transform even the darkest seasons into a path of purpose. From near-death experiences in the ocean to building a recovery community that incorporates fitness, meditation, and spiritual healing, Angie reveals how God has continually shown up in her life. Her story reminds us that true freedom comes not from control but from surrender. 💡 Lessons Learned God’s grace often shows up disguised — sometimes the greatest gift looks like a consequence. Surrender is not weakness — it’s the courage to admit you need help and trust God’s direction. Gratitude is a doorway to love — when we ground ourselves in gratitude, we feel closest to God. Your past doesn’t define you — every trial is training for your testimony. Recovery requires a whole-person approach — physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Faith grows in layers — trust builds each time you reflect on God’s past faithfulness. 🎁 The Gift of the Episode ✨ No matter how far you’ve fallen or how lost you feel, God has always had your back — and surrendering to Him can open doors you never imagined.   ______________________________________________________________________ WHO IS ANGIE MANSON? From low-income housing to CEO of Elevate Addiction Services, Angie Manson started using drugs and alcohol at the tender age of 11 years old.   Growing up in the 24-hour town of Reno, Nevada, she had easy access to substances, which led her down the road of addiction.  An intervention by her family on her 16th birthday landed her in jail again, followed by her first experience in a treatment center. Instead of getting clean and sober, Angie learned to manipulate the system.  At 18 and with no one to hold her accountable or bail her out, her addiction and criminal behavior worsened until she was facing a 10-year term in prison.   Due to a compassionate judge that was himself in recovery, Angie was sentenced to treatment instead. A couple of months in, she started working and giving back.  For the first time in her life, she developed a passion for giving back to others and realizing her true purpose.  Even after completing the program, Angie continued to work in rehab, both to gain more sober time and to give back to society.  After completing 3-years of probation and working full-time in treatment, that same Judge erased all of her criminal record and gave her a completely clean slate to start a new life.   Angie has found her true passion and purpose which is to help others who are struggling with addiction and she is grateful to be put on the path to live her true calling. She believes in doing the work every day to be successful, as this is how you continue to reap the rewards. Inspired by her grandparents, who always believed in her, and her mom, who believed in tough love, Angie learned the hard way how to take care of herself and others.   As the CEO of Elevate Addiction Services, the only drug rehab in the country to have a CrossFit gym, Angie is passionate about health and fitness. She is the host of The Going Rogue & the Elevate Experience 2.0 podcasts, and a recipient of the Forbes Riley Outstanding Humanitarian award. With Angie’s leadership, Elevate was nominated for and won the “Excellence In Treatment” GOLD Award from CONQUER ADDICTION. Angie has been featured in multiple articles such as; LA Weekly, Recovery Today, CrossFit and many more. She has 31 years in recovery and was a contributor to the international #1 best seller, 1 Habit for Entrepreneurial Success, and The Greatest Lessons I Learned from Being an Entrepreneur, Volume 3. Through candid stories and vulnerable reflections, he explores how confession, surrender, and spiritual identity shaped his journey.   Matt also reveals how his gift of voice—first as a singer and now as a coach—has become a sacred tool in his ministry. You don’t need a church, priest, or perfection to commune with God. He meets you exactly where you are. Shame dissolves in the light of confession. When we share our struggles with someone who holds light, we allow God’s grace to replace guilt. You are already forgiven. Matt’s realization that the cross already covered his sins freed him from self-punishment and striving. Your voice is sacred. Each person’s voice carries the unique imprint of their journey—it’s a divine instrument, not just for speech, but for healing. Your purpose is people. Matt’s clarity came when he asked, “Who can I serve today?” not “What do I need to do today?” __________________________________ WHO IS MATTHEW BERTHOT?   Matt Berthot, a small-town native from the Midwest, discovered his love for music and performance at an early age. Ep. 30 Assault w/ Liz Szporn

Welcome to EVOLVE Thru God!  I would love it if you would spread the word - like, follow, share, and introduce EVOLVE thru God to people you know who are seeking in their own journey!   In this powerful episode of Evolve Thru God, Angela sits down with Liz Szporn—a businesswoman, mother, and survivor—who shares the deeply personal story of how her early faith was shattered by sexual abuse at a Christian camp and how, decades later, she found her way back to God.   Liz opens up about the betrayal she experienced as a teenager at the hands of a camp director, the institutional cover-up that followed, and the long legal battle her family fought to expose the truth. But this is not a story of victimhood—it’s one of radical healing, spiritual reclamation, and courageous advocacy.   Through tears, laughter, and raw honesty, Liz recounts the winding road that led her to reconnect with God—not in church pews, but in nature, music, and daily prayer with a trusted circle of women. Her story is a profound reminder that even in our darkest seasons, redemption is possible—and that God never stops reaching for us.   If you or someone you know is a survivor, this episode will serve as both a balm and a beacon.   🌱 Lessons We Learn from Liz Spiritual Abuse Leaves Deep Wounds—but They Can Heal Liz’s assault didn’t just harm her body—it severed her connection to God. Rebuilding that relationship required time, honesty, and an entirely new spiritual framework outside traditional religion. God Doesn’t Abandon Us—Even When People Do Despite being silenced and shamed by those in positions of power, Liz’s story reminds us that God remains faithful. Her divine reconnection came through unexpected channels: poetry, music, and sacred community. Telling the Truth Is a Form of Spiritual Warfare Breaking the silence wasn’t just personal healing—it was a public act of justice. Liz’s willingness to speak out carved a path for other survivors to reclaim their voice and power. Forgiveness and Faith Are Not One-Time Events Liz’s spiritual journey was nonlinear. Her faith was not restored in a single moment, but through many quiet ones—often accompanied by tears, laughter, and relentless honesty with herself and God. Sacred Sisterhood Can Be Salvation The daily group prayer Liz participates in became a lifeline. True healing often happens not in isolation, but in safe, spiritually grounded community. There Is Glory in the Grit Liz’s life testifies that redemption doesn’t erase the pain—it transforms it into purpose. Her story encourages us to find the divine even in life’s messiest places. ___________________________________ WHO IS LIZ SPORN?   Liz Szporn is a Sr. Guide at Profit First Professionals. Welcome to EVOLVE Thru God!  I would love it if you would spread the word - like, follow, share, and introduce EVOLVE thru God to people you know who are seeking in their own journey! In Episode 26, Elizabeth shares her early life experiences, including her lack of exposure to Christianity until 2009, when her mother’s request to attend church prompted her exploration of faith. This marked the beginning of her relationship with God, which she later recognized had been present throughout her life. The conversation highlights the transformative impact of her faith on her personal growth and her commitment to helping others. Elizabeth recounts her challenging childhood, characterized by her mother's struggles with mental health and the instability that followed their family’s financial difficulties. She describes the feelings of rejection and isolation she experienced, particularly during a time when they lost their home and moved to a low-income apartment. Despite these hardships, she formed a supportive friendship that helped her navigate her circumstances. Elizabeth's resilience is evident as she reflects on her journey from dropping out of school to finding employment and eventually discovering the possibility of higher education. The conversation also delves into Elizabeth's tumultuous relationship with an abusive partner, which she ultimately escaped after recognizing the toxicity of the situation. She emphasizes the importance of seeking help and the unexpected support she received while raising her four children alone. Throughout her struggles, Elizabeth felt a divine presence guiding her, reinforcing her belief in the importance of recognizing unhealthy relationships and the strength required to overcome adversity. Elizabeth discusses the founding of Better A Life in 2016, driven by her desire to support families facing food insecurity. The organization provides food bags, pays off overdue lunch accounts for children, and offers educational support through a weekly homework club. Additionally, cooking classes are provided to teach essential skills to children, promoting self-sufficiency. The conversation concludes with a reflection on the importance of grace and resilience, as Elizabeth shares her insights on teaching these values to younger generations, emphasizing the role of the Holy Spirit in her life and work.   You can follow me on instagram ‪@EVOLVEThruGod‬@EVOLVEthruGod @msangelagoodman   ______________________________________________________________________ WHO IS ELIZABETH FORD?   Elizabeth Ford grew up in Reston, VA, where her early years were marked by hardship and hunger. At just seven years old, she experienced food insecurity firsthand when her babysitter—who often provided her only evening meal, a slice of hotdog on toast—turned her away because her mother couldn’t afford to pay. This moment was just the beginning of a childhood filled with instability and uncertainty. Frequent evictions forced Elizabeth and her mother to move constantly, leaving her without a reliable source of nourishment and guidance. She often sat outside a local 7-Eleven, asking passersby for quarters to buy hotdogs or whatever food she could afford. With her mother struggling with mental health challenges, Elizabeth had to fend for herself in a community where resources like food pantries were nonexistent. By 19, she was homeless, living in a hotel learning how to survive on her own. Without a stable home or support system, education took a backseat to survival. Elizabeth dropped out of high school after ninth grade, later earning her GED while working multiple jobs, often waiting tables and pulling double shifts just to secure a meal. During this period, she also endured a decade-long abusive marriage, unaware of what a healthy, loving relationship looked like, all while fighting to break free from the cycle of poverty. Determined to rewrite her story, Elizabeth eventually became a single mother, balancing full-time work with online college courses. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in IT with a specialization in Advanced Networking, which led to a successful career in IT security for the government and contractors. Yet, despite her professional achievements, her past struggles with hunger and hardship remained at the forefront of her mind, fueling her passion for change. Today, Elizabeth is remarried and part of Free Life Church and a blended family with five children. She now devotes herself full-time to BetterALife, the nonprofit she founded to combat childhood hunger. Alongside her family, she works to expand the organization’s reach nationwide, ensuring that no child has to experience the same uncertainty she once faced. Through her dedication and resilience, she is transforming lives—one meal at a time.
