Ministry of Railways has said that 20 pairs of ‘Clone Trains’ to start from 21st September on specific routes. These services will be in addition to 310 of total Sharmik Special and Special trains. And after running these 40 clone trains (20 pair), now the number of total trains running across country would be 350. These trains will accommodate the waiting list passengers o fdifferent trains on the same route on which clone trains will be running. The PM SVANidhi Yojna was launched by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, on June 01, 2020. It aims to provide affordable working capital loans to street vendors to resume their livelihoods that have been affected due to the coronavirus lockdown. The Special Marriage Act deals with inter-caste and inter-religion marriages. Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, Jains, Sikhs, Christians, Parsis, or Jews can perform marriage under the Special Marriage Act, 1954. The Special Marriage Act, 1954 is an Act provide a special form of marriage for the people of India and all Indian nationals in foreign countries. The parties have to file a Notice of Intended Marriage in the specified form to the Marriage Registrar of the district in which at least one of the parties to the marriage has resided for a period of not less than thirty days immediately preceding the date on which such notice is given. After the expiration of thirty days from the date on which notice of an intended marriage has been published, the marriage may be solemnised, unless it has been objected to by any person.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) filed a criminal case against actor Rhea Chakraborty under several sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, claiming proof about consumption of banned substances. A notice was issued to Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra by the Union Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry asking Priyanka to vacate her official bungalow by August 1 failing which "it will attract damage charges/penal rent as per rules". The Gujarat government on Monday launched a new scheme under which farmers facing crop losses due to drought, excess rain or unseasonal rain will get compensation without collection of any premium from them. The Centre declared the entire Nagaland as "disturbed area" for a period of six months till December. In a notification, the Home Ministry said that the in central government’s opinion area comprising the whole Nagaland is in such a disturbed and dangerous condition that the use of armed forces in aid of the civil power is necessary. "Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act, 1958 (No. 28 of 1958) the central government hereby declares that whole of the said State to be a 'disturbed area' for a period of six months with effect from 30th June, 2020 for the purpose of that Act," the home ministry said. The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case against G Venkata Krishna Reddy, the chairperson of the GVK Group of Companies, for allegedly siphoning off Rs 805 crore from the Mumbai International Airport.The case also names his son GV Sanjay Reddy, who is the managing director of the Mumbai airport, and nine other private companies and unidentified officials of the Airports Authority of India. CBI alleged that the accused had siphoned off Rs 310 crore by showing execution of bogus work contracts with nine other private companies. The promoters of GVK group allegedly misused reserve funds of MIAL to the tune of Rs 395 crore to finance their group companies.
