Faith Roundtable

Faith Roundtable is a podcast experiment that brings faith-based advocates and activists together for informal conversations about global environmental issues through the lens of faith, spirituality, and religion. Think coffee shop discussion rather than webinar. We'll be releasing four episodes between now and April 11.

  1. 4

Eco-Anxiety, Grief, and Hope: Spiritual Resilience in Climate Crisis

In our fourth and final episode of Faith Roundtable, our roundtable of faith-based advocates and activists explore the relationship between inner transformation and outer environmental action. Drawing on Buddhist, Christian, and interfaith perspectives, the discussion delves into eco-grief, spiritual restoration, and how faith communities can lead with heart in the climate crisis. What does it mean to balance advocacy with inner work? How can spiritual traditions help us navigate ecological grief and anxiety? And how do we cultivate resilience while the world changes around us?

  2. 3

Greed vs. Need: Navigating Consumption with Spiritual Wisdom

In the third episode of Faith Roundtable, our roundtable of faith-based advocates and activists explore the intersection of spirituality and sustainability. How do religious teachings shape our consumption habits? Can faith guide us toward more ethical and sustainable choices? With speakers from Hindu, Buddhist, Catholic, and interfaith backgrounds, they discuss the challenges of ethical consumption, the role of fasting in spiritual practice, and the deeper moral implications of what we buy and eat.

  3. 2

Bridging Generations: Next Generation of Environmental Advocates

In this episode of Faith Roundtable, our roundtable of faith-based advocates and activists explore the evolving roles of different generations in environmental activism. Through personal stories and faith-based reflections, we discuss intergenerational allyship, the challenges of youth leadership in faith-based environmental work, and how faith traditions offer models for collaboration across age groups.

  4. 1

Faith on Environmental Action: A Roundtable Discussion

In the inaugural episode of Faith Roundtable, our roundtable of faith-based advocates and activists discuss the intersection of faith, spirituality, and global environmental action. Looking back at key global events from 2025 like the Biodiversity (CBD) COP16, they explore how faith communities can break silos, build coalitions, and enhance their advocacy in climate discussions. Can faith be a unifying force in environmental policy?
