2 Corinthians 12:1-10: Even the Apostle Paul suffered with his “thorn in the flesh.” Despite his prayers, God let the pain remain. Sometimes as believers we conclude that God owes us an easy life or an easy victory. We, like Paul, must learn that God is God, and He uses all of our experiences to shape us in the likeness of His Son.

Mark 16:6-7: At the end of Mark, the angel of the empty tomb tells the women visiting the tomb that Jesus has risen. He bids them to go and tell Jesus’ disciples and Peter that Jesus will meet them in Galilee. Even after Peter had denied his Lord three times, Jesus seeks a special reconciliation with the disciple who first called him the Christ – Peter. Jesus and Peter have a family reunion.

Acts 3:1-10: God uses ordinary people who trust His power to bring hope and transformation to others.
