Life is full. Loud. And sometimes overwhelming.Flow with Lo' is the podcast that meets you right where you are - in the car, at the gym, folding laundry at midnight - and walks with you through the things that actually matter.Hosted by Loyiso Lo', this is a space for honest conversations about personal growth, faith, relationships, and the messy, beautiful work of becoming. Lo' doesn't speak from a stage. Pruning & Validation
Pour your coffee. Lace up those sneakers. Buckle the kids in. Hit play. This is Flow with Lo' - where personal growth meets real talk, where community happens in your earbuds, where Loyiso Lo' creates space for conversations that stay with you long after the episode ends. Today? We're talking about pruning. And Lo' is not easing you into this one. Cutting off is hard. Full stop. Whether it's a friendship, a community, or even a version of yourself you once held onto tightly - separating from things you deeply aligned with at some point is one of the most painful things a person can do. But it is necessary. And as a Christian, Lo' has found that Scripture doesn't shy away from this truth either - it leans right into it. This episode is personal. Lo' opens up her own life, her own losses, her own moments of having to choose growth over comfort. The kind of stories that make you feel less alone in your own quiet struggles. She also unpacks this word that's been following her around lately - validation - and why it means something completely different depending on who you ask. This one has been on Lo's heart for weeks. You'll feel it. There is no easy way through. But there is a way through. Flow with Lo' - Where we remember each other's humanity, one episode at a time. 📲 @flowithloyiso & @loyiso_chuma

Job & Me
If you have heard the story about Job in the Bible, you will expect a simple one. A story about a man who was tested to then ends by the devil, which was permitted by God, and then experienced restoration by tenfold. But there is so much more to that story. Lessons, and thoughts and ideas that are solely for you, listening to this episode. Hangout with me as I, Loyiso Lo', chat through this topic of suffering, and belief, and faith, and hope, and all the things this episode has in store for you. It is a raw episode and has limited editing. The point is the message and I know it will resonate differently with me even when I play it back. But in a way that is necessary and God-coded. I love you all and happy listening

'Can I get a Hall Pass?'
Flow with Lo' - Episode: "Can I Get a Hall Pass?" Pour your coffee. Lace up those sneakers. Buckle the kids in. Hit play. This is Flow with Lo' - your companion for the morning commute, the workout that clears your head, the cleaning session that somehow becomes therapy. This is where personal growth meets real talk, where community happens in your earbuds, where Loyiso Lo' creates space for conversations that stay with you long after the episode ends. Today's chat? We're diving into "Ngicela i'Visa?" - a South African show that asks a question most of us are too afraid to whisper out loud. On the surface, it's about hall passes. About permission. About stepping outside the lines we've drawn around our lives and relationships. Your mind goes exactly where you think it goes - loyalty, cheating, the whole messy spectrum of human desire. But here's where it gets interesting. What if the real conversation isn't about betrayal at all? What if it's about something we rarely admit - that the person you committed to is still... a person? Full. Complex. Growing. Wanting. Not just the role they fill in your life, but an entire human being with an inner world that doesn't stop existing because they said "I do." And yes - Lo' has thoughts. Real ones. Personal ones. The kind that come from living, not just observing. This isn't commentary from the sidelines. This is Lo' walking you through her own perspective, unfiltered and unapologetic. You might agree. You might not. But you'll respect the honesty. This episode explores the uncomfortable space between honoring who you are and honoring what you've promised. Between seeing yourself and seeing others. Between the roles we play and the people we remain underneath them all. We're not here to judge. We're not here to give answers. We're here to sit in the questions that make us squirm a little. The ones that make us think. The ones that remind us we're all just trying to figure this out. So settle in. Let Lo' guide the flow. And maybe - just maybe - you'll walk away understanding something you never thought you could. Welcome to the conversation. Flow with Lo' - Where we remember each other's humanity, one episode at a time.

January Judge-less
Happy New Year, my people! Season 3 is in full swing and honestly? I'm just happy to be here with you all again. This episode hits differently because it started where most of my best conversations do—with myself. I've been out here socializing more, connecting more, and somewhere in all of that, I realized I was carrying something heavy: judgment. And not just me—we all were. The tricky part? We don't always see it. It hides behind justifications, ego, and this idea of "who we are" that keeps us from admitting what's really going on. So in this episode, we're talking about judgment, self-awareness, and what it looks like to actually move through these patterns with the people we love. It's layered, it's honest, and it's a reminder that growth doesn't have to be perfect—it just has to keep moving forward. Fall forward if you have to. Just keep going, my people. Tune in and let's grow together. Instagram: @flowithloyiso x @loyiso_chuma

It's not THAT deep
Hello Hello and Hello My People! A new episode is here and I've taken a new route this season. I may renege on what I've started but what is life if not for the living? That's another thing I chat about on this episode because there's been plenty of planning, stressing, over analyzing as opposed to JUST DOING, and quite frankly I'm over it. I'm also over us being unable to go out, have a great fun time with someone, and then being pressurized to act like a bestie. LOL, sign me back to before social media made us all accessible to each other. I missed you all so much! Happy listening and REMEMBER TO TAKE YOUR VNS TO THE DMS @FLOWITHLOYISO ON INSTAGRAM.

Groove vs Green Pastures
Managing convictions, free will and holding onto God's chat about your life?Join the club, (pun intended). There are moments I battle with thoughts like 'What is the point?', 'What could really happen?', and 'Do i even care about this for real?' . It's obviously going to take you more than one conversation to stick to it. So in this episode, I bring you into my chat and personal experience around Groove and Green Pastures, truly revisiting converstions I've had with God about this. An episode about me, for you. Happy listening My People.

Radical Faith
My People, I'm so glad you got a chance to tune in, so welcome! This episde is sticking true to one of our main pillars at Flow with Lo' and that is 'Faith" and I explore a topic that's been on my mind. The last few weeks have been a clear call to action about embodying 'Radical Faith'. I don't truly know what it means for me in totality but I'm growing in knowledge about it and obviously had to bring you all into the conversation. We can't speak aboout faith without speaking about the fractures in my faith and their causes. A very real chat about my disappointment in the way some things have turned out under God's watch. But oddly enough, even as I was chatting to you guys it just hit me- This is the point. The point IS to have things to take to God and let Him do what is exceedingly and abundantly beyond what I can imagine. SO I bridged the gap theoretically and sprinkle what exactly I will be getting into as an act in this direction. TAKE THOSE VNs TO THE DMs @flowithloyiso on Instagram I love you all and may God bless you and keep you!

Friend Fatigue: 4 Soft Truths
Friend Fatigue is the feeling of 'what now?' or 'what next?' but with an exasperated expression. Even though our intentions can look dazzling and we represent ourselves well, it can get tiring to constantly feel like you are auditioning people and being auditioned to be in relationship. Super tiring. SO i decided to share 4 Soft Truths about Friendship that I hope help you navigate the real root of your friendship fatigue. Instead of spending a lot of time focusing on the feeling and it's dampening elements, I take a different approach and chat about ways you can rule out the heaviness. I love you all and Happy Listening xx Instagram: @flowithloyiso x @loyiso_chuma

Lizzo reneges being fat? Let's talk
A new week, a new episode, Every Thursday 10AM EST. Lizzo recently posted pictures of her 'defacing' her before pictures. You know...before... when she was fat. But it seems like that is an era in her life she has no interest in entertaining because she isn't anymore? Either way, this episode is a chat about that. What do such acts do on the other side of self-expression and making a statement? What happens when you evolve into someone that does not need a particular audience ANYMORE, even though you may not have explicity asked for it. Do you leave them by the curb and spit in their faces, or a more modern way to look at it- do you publicly deface the you that empowered them? What does this say about how we handle our pasts and past selves in this life? I have the answer- a lot. I am a Communications Strategist and I attacked this topic in this capacity AND as a conversationalist. There are many angles and opinions we can have just off of this chat and I invite you to join me in exploring what those were. And honestly, there was some revelations about me ,my mind and heart. Let's chat about it. Send those VNs to the DMs to keep this flow going to @flowithloyiso on Instagram. Blessings and Love to you all and Happy Listening xoxo

Identity Politics
Happy new week My People! Identity politics was a phrase I heard around me so often! Up until I got to studying, observing, and literally living the reality of my identity and politics being dependent on each other. A relationship that was subtle and unspoken about has become a persuasive tool in politics and our survival. You know I always drop a gem through my own experience with how this payed out and the ways I capitalized my education & the American political landscape's usual approach, which ultimately led me to consistently scoring a 4.0 grade average. It's not all bad but know about it, speak about and grow. Happy listening and dnoo not forget to send those VNs to the DMs! God bless xx Instagram: @flowithloyiso | @loyiso_chuma

Versions of God (a discrete list)
MY PEOPLE! I'm happy you're tuning in for this episode because it is such an important chat and I wanted to have it with you. A lot of the time, when people are yapping about their troubles however big or small, it is cathartic. You get to vent and also connect with others that may be going through the same thing or just troubles of their own. Ultimately, those are the main good things. However, at the end of it all what do you do with that? All of it? On this episode, I chat to you about the versions of God I know with stories about HOW exactly I got to know them. A discrete list that I invite you to add to in vulnerability, honesty and after some reflection. Happy listening and Blessings My People! @flowithloyiso

Moses & Me
I've been reading the book of Exodus after avoiding the Old Testament for what felt like forever. I naturally stumbled upon the genesis of Moses and the call God had on his life. However, there is so much more detail I was not privy to when I was younger. Children stories omitted Moses' shortcoming like his speech problem, the fact that he went to Pharoah a total of 10 times! 10 TIMES!? I don't remember trying something so many times. This detail in the story, along with many others, had me reflecting and seeing Moses in Me. The random feelings of inadequacy, the expectation to be resilient and realizing that the best way to move passed something is getting through it even though I may want to give up on my 5th try. Moses & Me is an episode about Moses & Me navigating and understanding how God moved in Moses' life. Instagram: @flowithloyiso

Feeling Overlooked: Onezwa & Nara Smith
Social Media has been having a field day comparing the evidence provided by Nara and Onezwa regarding the alleged copying of content from Nara Smith to Onezwa Mbola. This discourse covers so many spheres in society that Zee$$ and I had to GET iNTO IT. As South African babes' living in the States, our contribution to the conversation uniquely weaves culture, geography, personal experience and general observation into the bigger topic : FEELING OVERLOOKED. I hope you tap into discourse that connects you to parts of yourself that you arrive at by thinking openly, critically and humorously. Be blessed and reassured by 1 John 2:15-17. Why we Run from God feat. Zee$$
A LONG OVERDUE EPISODE, also remember to TAKE YOUR VNs TO THE DMs. Generally, we tend to run from things and this manifests itself differently and for different reasons. I know I used to run from entire provinces when I felt overwhelmed by what I was experiencing in that space and at that time. "When's the next flight? yah, I'm on THAT" was me from time to time during my ungdergrad years. What more God? I realized that even I sometimes try conjure up a million other ways to deal with what I'm being faced with. Instead of running straight to my Creator every single time, I have no real clue what I do for real because it has rarely helped me navigate the problem! Anywho, relating to this chat and noticing people around me falling into the same patterns, I bring my sister, ocassional co-host, and your favorite - ZEEMONEY- to delve into a chat about this real experience.

"Litty to Holy" walks you through some of the changes that have manifested in my actual life after my decision to get baptised. Coping mechanisms, healing after shedding, trusting God for real, and much more on this chat. Do not forget to TAKE YOUR VNs TO THE DMs on Instagram @flowithloyiso. UK Thanos, Fatherless Behavior?, Is Female Rap really empowerment? (ft. Michelle & ZeeMoney)
A new friend & guest joins me this week as we chat about the famous interview Tumelo from Bristol. Zeemoney also naturally fits into the chats and it just made sense- a real flow. The chat branchd into related themes: what is 'fatherless behavior' ? The influence of rap music, especially since Tumelo brought up Cardi B as a role model. The truth about haughty elders, especially through the lens of young black girls and so much more! Happy and critical listening. The discourse is open and introspective more than it is judgemental. ’Accountable’ friend, is this your business? | Men Settle too? | Let It Go! |
Hello Hello Hello Everyone! ANOTHER WEEK, ANOTHER EPISODE! This week is a lovely one because we welcome my birthday month with a NEW GUEST! I had a chat with my friend Karabo Mokgonyana and as per usual, it got critical. Since we met, I noticed a habit of reflection and shameless sharing in Karabo and it makes chatting to her even more enjoyable. In her occupational life, she's up to so much and you can have fun on LinkedIn and Google BUT ON THIS SHOW? She came as her whole self comfortable self so we get a peak of what she thinks about different things. It matters that people are always cozy to just chat and BE around me. I'm not concerned about a lot when it comes to chats because it really is a place to be vibey and chill af. I raved and chatted as per usual and it turned out GUD. So I'm gud. Gaza & Israel, ’Explained’
It has been a hectic couple of weeks and wars across the world are shcoking those that were ignorant to these realities. Gaza and Israel, have made international headlines after Hamas stood up to fight the Israeli occupation and consequent retaliation by Israel. Things quickly escalated and a genocide is literally what this is at this point. This episode covers the basic facts for my peers, contemporaries or anyone who wants to know, 'what', 'how' and 'when'?. There is so much more to the discourse and multiple nuances and I've simplified it for you, in my way. I hope you all stay informed, stand against weird shxt in society and powers overpowering and taking from vulnerable hands.

HELLO MY PEOPLE! GET INTO THIS NEW INTRO :D It's been forever but I am happily back and have an episode I enjoyed recording. Nothile "Notts" Mthembu is a Youtuber, Digital Content Creator and a really dope mate of mine. She is a creative in the truest sense and you will get to hear more about her perspective about where she places herself on the spectrum of creatives. We also speak about the South African media landscape from our perspectives as young black girls up until now. A little something about friendship had to feature as we get into Notts reuniting with her estranged best friend. I had to have her on the show and delve into a few chats that sprouted from nothing and everything hehehe. My Mercury Retrograde said ”Self Care”
@FLOWWITHLOYISO : INSTAGRAM Mercury Retrograde passed and I AM FEELING IT! In thsi week's episode, I rant about what this phase in astrology has been like. Overall though, this episode is helpful to anyone needing some motivation to get back into the swing of things. It matters that we have little reinforcements of self-care and centering ourselves when the world around us seems mad for real. The ”Friendship” Concept
On this episode I chat about my concept of friendship and the ways it has evovlved and continues to evolve. It begins with an anecdote about my initial inception of 'how to' navigate friendship. Growing up though, I have learned so much that is suitable for me and this chat is about just that! Figuring things out and working towards the goal of loving my mates intentionally and paying attention to what I need. Also paying attention to what they need. Life is long and there is so much more to experience, and I kinda wanna have people by my side through it all. Enjoy the chat and feel free to leave your chats on @flowithloyiso on Instagram under the post for this episode. I look forward to growing and hope you gleefully join me! LETS GOOOO!

Lo & ZeeMoney: Your love, Superfandom + Celebrities, Assertion & more [PART 2]
HELLO FROM LO' This is PART 2 of the chat with my sister, Ziyanda -ZeeMoney/ZeeCash/ZeeDollar. This chat morphed into a different babe and we get into other things. How do you show your love and are you comfortable with the fact that it looks different? We also get into superfans and our perception of the dynamic between themselves and this high adoration for their subjects, or certain celebrities. 'Assertion' is such a lovely way to tie it all together because ultimately, asserting what and WHO we are is the vision. I hope you enjoy it and rock with it! Let's Flow:D Illustration done by my dear friend Denise Lamine! I love you forerver dear friend, enkosi xx Instagram: @sydsosoulful
