In our ongoing series discussing parts of life that it's easy to not talk about in Church, we look at how our faith should inform us and shape our treatment of the world God created. 

In our final week exploring the values that lie behind our life as church, Nigel explores what 'everyone going' might mean for our lives and for our church community.

In our second youth-run service of 2019, our very own Jess Taylor speaks on the journey of an incredible woman and how that story can impact our relationship with God even today.

Around this time each year we hold our Annual General Meeting as a church. This is a great chance to get a bit more of a sense of the breadth of what we get to be involved with as a community, and of how God has been moving and what we're still longing for and reaching towards as a church together. 

Today we baptised our very own Tony Lewis. Nigel speaks on the heart behind baptism and Tony shares his testimony and gently embarrasses his friends and family.

We hear from Hannah at the end of her year away working in Harare, Zimbabwe, and then Nigel and Sam share at the end of our week of prayer as a church. The augio quality clears up after the first couple of minutes, so hang on in there. Apologies.

The final talk in our series on prayer leading into a week of prayer as a church, Nigel speaks about Pentecost and how the power of the Spirit is released as God's people gather together to pray and seek and wait for him.

Nigel speaks about how the church gathered to pray for Peter when he was in prison. Even in their doubt and confusion and fear, God came through and rescued Peter.

Phil Stokes, team leader at The Well Community Church in Camberwell, begins our new series on prayer by exploring the desperate, undignified cry of Hannah, and how God moves in her pain and longing.  We apologise that the audio quality of this recording is particularly sub-optimal. 

Today we get to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. But we do so every year against the backdrop of acknowledging the ongoing brokenness in our world, and the frustration, pain, fear and even grief in our lives. For Mary Magdalene, at the tomb, it was precisely her grief, brokenness and tears that kept at the tomb and brought her face to face with the Gardener. 

Mark's gospel tells us that at Jesus' crucifixion 'darkness came over the whole land'. Nigel explores what this darkness means and symbolizes in the story and for our lives today, and how Jesus brings transformation and victory in the midst of it. 

Darach continues our series through lent, looking at Jesus and his disciples in the garden of Gethsemane. 

As part of our youth service, Elena speaks on John 13, Jesus getting up from the table, removing his robe, and putting on a towel to wash his disciples feet.

Naomi unpacks the fig tree sandwich of Mark 11. This has been called one of the hardest passages in the New Testament, so buckle up!

Nigel speaks on the first of our annual gift days, speaking on how we can be those who give wholeheartedly in worship of Jesus.

Jesus enters Jerusalem as King. But the King of the universe also wants to enter into our hearts. This week we're taking a bit more of a contemplative approach to this story. Apologies that due to technical issues the first part of the talk did not record.

'Jesus set his face towards Jerusalem', is the phrase Luke uses to introduce the final phase of Jesus' ministry. This Lent, we're focusing in on the last week of Jesus' life, spent in and around Jerusalem. This week Nigel begins by looking at Jesus, on his way.
