Reflect, today, on death—but try to see it as a call to live a life of love and sacrifice. The best way to prepare for a holy and peaceful death is to live with God’s love at the center of everything you do right now. The more you do that, the more you will bring glory to God, just as Jesus did.

Reflect today on the praise you offer and receive. Are you influenced by misguided praise? Do you compliment others in a way that aligns with God's truth? Strive to let your words and your heart be guided by God’s wisdom, seeking only the praise that comes from Him. 

Reflect today on the example of Saint John the Baptist. Consider his willingness to decrease so that Christ might increase. This humility, far from lowering him, allowed him to fulfill his unique mission and attain the greatness God intended for him. True humility opens the door for God to work in and through us, leading us to share in His glory.

Reflect today on this important question: "Am I fulfilling the will of the Father in Heaven?" What will you wish you had done as you stand before Christ's judgment seat? Spend time considering what God reveals to you and strengthen your resolve to live in line with His will. Don’t delay—prepare now so that the day of judgment will be a day of joy and glory.

Reflect today on the infinite spiritual authority and power of our Lord. It’s a power beyond anything we can imagine, and He wants to use it in your life out of love. What is stopping Him from taking greater control of your life? What sin or temptation does He want to rebuke in your life? What oppression does He want to free you from? Imagine yourself as one of the people of Capernaum who fully welcomes Jesus, is amazed by Him, and desires Him in your life. His work in your life depends on your response to Him. Call on Him and let Him in.

Reflect today on the eternal plan of the Father to save humanity from sin by sending His divine Son as our Savior. This plan, spanning generations from the beginning of time, continues to unfold until the return of Jesus in splendor and glory. Ponder this remarkable plan and the extraordinary gift bestowed upon you. Allow gratitude to blossom in your heart for the immeasurable grace offered through Jesus.

Conversion is an ongoing process, and each step of turning toward Christ opens the door to deeper transformations. Like Saint John of the Cross suggests, be open to the possibility of continual conversion throughout your spiritual journey. As you commit to ongoing change and openness to God's work in your life, allow the joy of following Christ to radiate from you, potentially inspiring others to embark on their own journeys of faith.
