There’s a difference between natural hope and spiritual hope, and it all comes down to the foundation on which it stands. Biblical hope rests on God’s promises, and it’s not inferior to faith—it’s an extension of it.In the natural, your experiences shape the hope you have. But when you place that hope in God, you can change your destiny. When Abraham’s natural hope failed, he shifted his focus to God's Word. You can’t let the natural world shake your hope. Like Abraham, praise God to strengthen your faith and focus your hope on Him, not the circumstances.

You're going to take back everything that is yours in Christ; and "with a strong hand" the enemy has to let go (Exo.6:4). International Women's Day Message from Rev. Funke Ewuosho (2023):  "IT ISN'T YET TIME TO SETTLE!" This year's theme, #EmbraceEquity, conveys a great message to us all. As I reflect on the theme, what came to my heart is, it's not yet time for you to settle! And I want to challenge you with this today. Don't settle - whether it's at your job, in your finances, your goals, etc. There is no doubt that you deserve the best. As a woman, you work so hard. You are brilliant, intelligent and strong. However, I want to remind you that life will not give you what you deserve. You must learn to ask, and sometimes, even demand and assert yourself where necessary, to get what you deserve. As women, we find ourselves settling for less than what we deserve, because society has labelled women as 'aggressive' and 'feisty', all too often. Don't be afraid to take what rightfully belongs to you. The fear of how society sees you, the confines of society's definition of what a woman is, can cause you to settle. Equity of treatment means standing your ground for what you deserve.
