Friendship with God

Man is continually filling up their cup of iniquity and unless they repent and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ for His mercy, they will all face the wrath of God on judgment day.

The desire for more knowledge through educational pursuits is  important, however, what they don’t know is that they are missing the most important pursuit and that is the pursuit for a friendship with God.

So many people are thinking they are good enough to make it into heaven but are going to be disqualified because they refused to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as the only way to heaven.

People are living in this world with a need for something. They are living with a need for spiritual things and the need for a relationship with Jesus Christ.

It will be a wonderful day when the Jewish people cry out to the Lord Jesus Christ and say, that’s our redeemer!                                           

Jesus tells us that we have not because we ask not and for the Jewish people it is going to be a terrible thing when they ask why they have not the hope of eternal life, and the Lord Jesus Christ will say to them because you have not called on Me for the forgiveness of your sins.

The blind man was cast out of the Synagogue because of his testimony for the Lord Jesus Christ and many of those same people will be cast out of heaven because they rejected the testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ.  

God has given us all a golden opportunity to use our spiritual gifts to reach people with the Gospel in order that they would be saved.

The day of judgment with the Lord Jesus Christ is not going to be about what we know as a group, organization or even a church but what I know individually regarding my friendship with God.

Just as a mother does for her children, the Lord Jesus Christ does for His children in providing them with care and protection against those who would try and do them harm.

Throughout their history, the Jewish people have felt burdened by idols and weighed down by their guilt of sin instead of coming to Jesus who will remove those burdens through His forgiveness of sins. 

So many people are trying to work their way into heaven by keeping the traditions and following the rules of religiosity  not realizing that it is the grace of God by which we are saved.

When we are called to testify for the Lord Jesus Christ, the Spirit of God will supply us with the holy boldness we need.

When one decides to follow the Lord Jesus Christ they need to prepare themselves for a strong opposition against our decision, especially those of our own households.

At a time when the Jewish people were of great vulnerability, God protected and provided comfort to His people.

Many times it seemed that the Jewish people were on the brink of destruction and yet God provided deliverance from their enemies, and in the end, the Lord Jesus Christ will provide deliverance from their sins.

Even though the Lord Jesus Christ made it abundantly clear that he was the Son of God, many are still willfully ignorant of that truth and remain in their sins.

The Lord Jesus Christ said you are either with Me or against Me as many people enjoy the material benefits, but many refuse to take up their cross and follow Him.

Although it seems as if some of the great patriarchs of the past stood alone when facing adversity, we never really stand alone as long as the Lord Jesus Christ is our helper.

People are searching for all kinds of ways to fulfill their desires, but only God satisfies our greatest desire which is a friendship with Him through the Lord Jesus Christ.

When a person comes to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ they begin a mission to tell others about Him so that they can be saved from their sins.

So many people are looking at this world through their natural eyes and believe it is a product of random chance based on evolutionary processes because they are blinded by the God of this world. Only the Lord Jesus Christ can give one spiritual eyes to see that He is the Creator of the heavens and the earth and the Savior of the world.

As followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, we need to be a good witness if we are to lead people to the foot of the cross so they can receive the gift of eternal life.

The world today is filled with people who are dying without a friendship with the Lord Jesus Christ and are lost forever because they reject the truth of the Gospel and their only hope for salvation.

Everyone who chooses to follow God and His plan for their life has accepted the high calling of doing the work of the ministry and fulfilling the great commission in telling everyone about the good news of Jesus Christ and His gift of salvation.

God created this world in six days and said it was very good, however, mankind brought the curse of sin and death into the world because of disobedience, but God planned for this with His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ to be the redeemer of that curse.  

When the Lord Jesus Christ came to earth He told the religious leaders that He didn’t come for those who are healthy but those who are sick with sin because they needed a remedy for their fatal disease.

People are walking around in this world with the belief that everything is hopeless and only getting worse, however, with the Lord Jesus Christ and the message of the Gospel, there is a hope that things can get better.

When the Lord Jesus Christ was on the earth he had the mind set of I have to finish the work the Father gave Me to do because My time is short.

There are two groups of people in the world, one group sees the obstacles to God and go the other way and the other group sees the obstacles to God and overcomes by the blood of the lamb. 

In the end, the sheep and the goats will be separated by the words, well done good and faithful servant or depart from Me for I never knew you.

When we come to the Lord Jesus Christ we must come to Him with a listening ear in order to fully comprehend His directions for our lives.

The Lord Jesus Christ made the blind man feel his blindness before He gave him his sight, and He makes us feel our blindness before He gives us our sight so that we will not forget what He did for us.

As the Lord Jesus Christ did the works that the Father gave Him to do, we who are His disciples must do the work that the Lord has given us to do while we have the time because, that time is limited.

God’s love for us was at a great cost to Jesus but a free gift to us.

In this life we have two roads to choose from, one road is broad and leads to destruction and the other is a narrow road that leads to everlasting life.

Just as the Lord Jesus Christ came to do the work His Father gave Him, we must also be busy doing the work that God gave us to do.

The word of God is not just a book of suggestions given by the Lord Jesus Christ, but the Gospel is a command to obey.

The Lord Jesus Christ was moved with compassion for us because he saw us as lost sheep wandering around with no hope.

The truth is that God is the Creator of the heavens and the earth, but the world would rather fall for the deception of evolution.

The Jewish people ask where was God during the atrocities they have suffered through? God was asking where were the people when His Son was suffering on the cross to pay for their sins?.

Only the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ can open the eyes of the blind and free them from the bondage of sin.

When the Lord Jesus Christ was on the cross He felt the magnitude of pressure in carrying the sins of the whole world.

As followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, we should always be looking for opportunities to share the truth of God’s love for them and His gift of eternal life.

When the Lord Jesus Christ calls us by our name, He is calling us to Himself as His unique and individual possession.       

People are trying every kind of new self help remedy to make them better today when all they have to do is call on the Lord Jesus Christ who is the remedy for sin.

God sent His Son to do the works that glorify Him and the Lord Jesus Christ sends us out to do the works that glorify Him.

We try to do things in our own self-sufficiency because of pride instead of calling on the Lord Jesus Christ for His sufficiency in our lives

We always want to know why we are going through trials and difficulties when God wants to know what are we learning from these trials and difficulties.

There is only one man who could exemplify the incredible meekness and humility needed to reach the lost and that was the Lord Jesus Christ.
