Stab her! A Struggle at the Sheriff's office. Where’s Morgan?

The battle of Liam’s Yard. The Hunters get the Box, and escape. Liam, Bart and Meztli get exploded, but Bart shows up later at the Sheriff's office. The Hunters investigate the Box, and there is a vision of drums and spirits. Elana finds out Morgan gave an offering.

The Hunters end up at the Sculptors house. There are some explosions, and some wrestling of minions. Handcuffs are discussed at some point.

Elana protects Sheriff Alvaraz while Morgan has a disagreement with a… wood golem? The Hunters investigate after Morgan hears about a mysterious “Sculptor” and a Box inside the mind of Gilberto.

The Hunters finish their conversation with “Lozu” in which it is indicated that Sully had ‘sold his soul, in pieces’ to Lozu in order to achieve some form of pain relief. They meet Lyla, the Spectero Sheriff’s Office Dispatcher and learn things about the Garcia’s regulars. Jaylan Horn was strangled by Salvador Kiera, and the Sheriff meets the Hunters at the bar, where they interview Drew Hodge and  Meztli Edelmilra. Interviews are ended when a man appears to punch Sheriff Alvarez through a door in the bar.

The Hunters take stock of the situation and confirm to Sheriff Alvarez that they will help with the case of Sully Jacobs. They learn a little more about each other before investigating the Kachina House Antique shop and finally decide to hold a Seance at Garcia’s where they meet someone of interest.

They’re called board shorts. Elena and Morgan find themselves in a situation thanks to the magic and majesty that is SMS timing. They meet the Sheriff (and forget to find out his name) when they have to explain what happened to Todd Rylander. The Sheriff has a problem. He wants the Hunter’s help with a person who seems to possess supernatural strength and brutal rage. They find the target with the help of the Sheriff's car on a dark road.

I, several times, confused a flu with a damper. I, too, am no chimney expert. The Hunters were saddened by the death of Todd Rylander at the hands of the ghost of Harvey Shake… Well, Harvey Shake’s hand. This did not prevent them from dispatching his ghost by removing his partial remains (the hand) from the house and giving it a burial… Eventually in the back of Morgan’s car. Morgan Harper has never existed. Morgan Roberts is unaware of that, and the voices abide in their dark place that is nowhere. A strange cartouche is recovered near the gathering room hearth of the Ryalnder house. It depicts a bird’s skull and four stick figures with arms raised in some sort of green and mottled glass-like mineral. Morgan levels up and decides she needs to be more Cool.

A special double-length episode for our podcast’s premier! Morgan and Elena are contacted by a woman, Candace Rylander, afraid for the health and safety of her baby daughter Alice. She explains that something attacked Alice and left a mark in a hand shape on the baby girl. Upon entering the Rylander House, Morgan’s second sight lets her spot a disembodied hand in the baby’s room which prompts the Hunters to get Candace and Alice out of the house. They interview the neighbour, Graff Joelson, and look up records at the local Catholic church and City Hall and discover a connection between Candace and an ancient murder at the hands of Harvey Shake, a distance ancestor. They re-enter the Rylander House and are attacked by the Hand. In the chaos that ensues, Morgan has a strange encounter in her mind.

Rake, Muppet and Taen make characters in the second part of our Session Zero. We meet Elena Olivares the full time heir to an occult legacy, part time ghost tour guide using the Initiate playbook and Morgan Harper the psychic self-help YouTube influencer using the Spooky playbook.

Our first recording! We do a little world building and discuss what we’re interested in seeing in the game, and not interested in seeing. Rake, Taen and Muppet decide not to bring Gods into this mess, veto disease zombies and give the thumbs up to Skinwalkers!
