End of an era with births at Mersey Community Hospital

Changes to Coastal maternity services from next week
Changes to maternity services on the North-West Coast will take effect from Monday with maternity services being centralised at the North-West Regional Hospital in Burnie. However, antenatal services will still be provided at the Mersey Community Hospital at Latrobe. 400 cyclists to hit the Coat's hills this Sunday
More than 4000 cyclists, many of them from interstate, will tackle a torturous 230km bike ride on the North-West on Sunday. The event start and finish at Devonport, and includes some horrendous climbs, including Cethana and Cradle Mountain.
