Welcome to the He Calls Her Shepherd Podcast, a women in ministry podcast! Hosts Hannah and Naomi are both college students passionate about ministry and how the Lord uses women to shepherd His people. On this podcast, they interview women about their calls to ministry and the unique experiences they might have that all women can learn from, be encouraged by, and cast fresh vision with. The discuss how ministry is not just for women and it is not just for men but it is for those who God calls. Pastor Michele and her husband have eleven children and one grandson. Pastor Michele is passionate about prayer and equipping families to be the center for spiritual growth. She and David have been a part of the Brookhaven family since their undergraduate years at Indiana Wesleyan University. Pastor Michele has been on the pastoral staff since 2010, earned her MA in ministerial leadership in 2013 and was ordained in The Wesleyan Church that same year. Prior to that, she was a teacher for several years and earned an MED in curriculum development. In this weeks podcast Raegan and Pastor Stacy Shaw have a conversation about how Stacy became a Youth Pastor and later a Professor. Stacy Shaw is an ordained minister in The Wesleyan Church who has a passion for reaching teenagers with the message of God’s love and walking alongside of them as they learn how to follow Jesus. After graduating from Indiana Wesleyan University, Stacy began serving as a Pastor of Student Ministries in the local church, first at a small church in Overland Park, Kansas, and then in Corning, New York where she led a Student Ministry Team. During that time, she completed her Master of Divinity from Wesley Seminary and also served on multiple teams with The Wesleyan Church to organize youth and pastoral conferences.
