God has good reason for everything He does, even when it doesn't make sense to us. Our reasons are often selfish, but His are about salvation, and sometimes, we need to just get on board and trust Him.

What happens when I try to be the hero? The results are rarely pretty and God's intentions are frequently ruined by my intervention. This devotion is a challenge to enablers and wannabe caped crusaders like me.

Do you need to have a "throw-down" with your thoughts? Don't let anxiety and fear rule your day. The struggle is real, but so is God, and HE is greater.t

There is no pain that Jesus has not felt. There is no rejection that He cannot relate to. And there is no soul and no situation that He cannot redeem. He is close to you in your pain, and He is pleading and working on your behalf.

Don't settle for a seat on the bench, or even in the pew, for that matter. And don't let the endless, and often pointless, battles of this world distract you from the all-important battle of winning souls to Christ.

Jesus called us to be lights in a dark world (Philippians 2:15), and wherever we go, we should infuse the environment with Jesus like a tea bag infuses a glass of water. But too often, we are sponges instead of tea bags and the world infects us more than we affect it. God wants to help us do better, for our good and His glory.

What does it take to please God? What does it take to see Him work in lives that aren't working? We learn from Moses' mother that it takes boatloads of faith, but God rewards those who trust in Him.

God never intends for His people to live in fear of the world around. He is greater and He is faithful. Our job is to see prayer requests (not just problems) and trust that He is over it all.

If tomatoes could talk... Tune in for a simple reminder of the neverending goodness of God.

The Rich Man knew Lazarus needed help, and he looked the other way. Do we do the same to the hurting people in our line of sight?

You may be a go-getter, but God gave you everything you have. Give it all back to Him.

Ask God to show you a face in the crowd. Be a blessing in a broken world.

God's deliverance is always perfectly timed, perfectly delivered, and settled in heaven long before we see it. Wait for it.

When God puts something on your heart, move on a maybe and step out in faith. God favors the bold.

Dear friend, we are not lost. We are not defeated. We are poised to rise and shine. We are ankle-deep in the territory that God uses to bring revival, to build HIS kingdom, and to perfect His saints for earth-shaking, life-changing ministry. Make it count.
