Hold Fast to the PromiseGenesis 12:10–13:1What do you do when obedience to God is followed by hardship instead of blessing? In Genesis 12, Abram obeys the Lord, enters the promised land, and worships—only to face a severe famine that threatens everything God promised him.This passage shows how fear of lack and fear of man can lead us to rely on human solutions rather than on God’s promises. Abram’s faith falters, but God’s faithfulness does not. Even when Abram fails, God intervenes to protect His promise and His people.This sermon reminds us that God’s faithfulness is not dependent on our perfection. When trials come, and God’s promises seem uncertain, we are called to hold fast to our hope—because He who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23).

Temporary Tents; Permanent Altars (Genesis 12:4–9)In this week’s message, we follow Abram’s remarkable journey of obedience as he leaves Haranand travels into the heart of Canaan with his entire household.
