Commit to reading and memorizing key Bible verses that will help remind you of what is true.Rather than relying on what others might think about homosexuality, read what the Bible says in Leviticus 18:22, 20:13, Romans 1:18-32, and 1 Corinthians 6:9-11.Invite God to convict you of any of the sins listed under point #4 above.  Confess and repent of them and invite the Lord to renew your mind with the truth.

    IntroductionOur union with Christ, and what it means to identify with him, is to share in both sufferings and Glory. To be a Co-heir means we are also Co-Suffering with Christ. (see Rom 8:17)Acts 5:41; Romans 8:18; 2 Cor 4:17It can be hard to turn our eyes to the horizon and keep an Eternal  Perspective in the midst of suffering. The TextCreation’s Groan (Rom 8:19-22)Creation suffers because of sin, but it suffers in hope. One of the hopes of Glory is that the Universe itself will be transformed. (Rev 21)Pains of Childbirth (8:22)  Mankind’s Groan (Rom 8:23-25)The already, but not yet. 2 Cor 5:2We groan because our bodies failWe groan because of wasted potential ,wasted life, and wasted relationships. We groan because of the sin that dwells within us. (1 Cor 15:20,42, 51-57) The Holy Spirit’s Groan on Our Behalf (Rom 8:26-27) God’s answer to the problem of sin and death is a victory through the resurrection. ConclusionNothing can separate you from the Love of God. Questions for those who DON’T believe in infant baptism:When did God stop including children in his covenant?If infant baptism didn’t originate in Scripture – when did it start?  Where is the verse in Scripture that says infants and children shouldn’t be baptized? Where are the biblical examples of children who grow up to be baptized at a later age?  And how is Scripture violated if a child is baptized first, and then grows and matures in their faith? Next steps...Keep this outline so that you can use it to remind yourself about why baptizing babies is biblical and use it when the topic comes up in conversation with those who might disagree. Thank the Lord that He is a covenant-making and covenant-keeping God, and graciously promises to be a God to our children and grandchildren, and not just adult believers.

(Matthew 28:1-20) Next steps...The next time you’re in a dark and difficult place, read and reflect on a Psalm of lament, like Psalm 13, 70 or 130 and let it be your prayer.Look back at your life and remember how God was good and faithful to you during difficult times.  Share a story or two with family members and/or friends. Talk to the Lord about your situation and ask Him if there’s anything that He wants you to do.  Consult with wise and godly family members and friends.  Then do what you feel led to do.

(Luke 15:1-7, 19:5-6, )Zacchaeus was thrilled that someone like Jesus would come to his house.  (Luke 19:5-6) How did the people react to Jesus making himself a houseguest of Zacchaeus. (Luke 3:15-16, 19:7)  Jesus would destroy evil, but not in the way that they expected. (Luke 3:15-16, John 1:29)Zacchaeus was a changed man. (Luke 19:8-9)Next steps...Ponder the truth that God knows your name, your sins, and your circumstances and sent His Son to seek you and to save you. Offer a prayer of thanksgiving!Rather than feeling angry about sinful people and wishing God’s judgment on them, ask God to help you be as patient with them as He is with you, so that everyone can hear the good news and have an opportunity to be saved.Who has God placed in your life that is spiritually lost? Go out of your way to pray for them, care about them, and offer God’s amazing grace and forgiveness to them.
