2 Peter 2:1–16 warns believers about false prophets and teachers who secretly bring destructive teachings, deny the truth, and lead others into sin for personal gain. Peter explains that although they may appear convincing, their greed, deception, and immoral lifestyles reveal their true character. Using examples like fallen angels, Noah’s generation, and Sodom and Gomorrah, Peter reminds us that God judges wickedness but rescues those who remain faithful. The passage encourages Christians to stay grounded in God’s Word and be discerning about who they follow.

How can we stay true to the Gospel during the end times? Paul gives us a way to watch for the return of Jesus from the perspective of the world and what is happening in it. Let us learn the lesson of what it means to remain true to Jesus in light of end times.

A few times a year, men from our congregation teach. This year, we are focused on the Psalms for our teachers and elders. Both of these men did a fantastic job covering these Psalms.

As we continue our march to Revelation, the suddenness of the return of Jesus will catch many off guard and others watching and ready. The question really is today: What do you live for now? Join us as we continue our path to Revelation.
