EP 17: More Than a Label: Worshiping God, Not Religion
Have you ever felt disconnected or judged by your brothers and sisters in Christ because of different practices or beliefs? At the end of the day we're all children of God, not of religion. We're called to love each other as Christ loves us. John 13: “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” One faith, One love, Same end goal (Jesus).

EP 16: Temporary Fixes & Chasing Things That Leave You Empty
Have you ever chased something that left you unsatisfied and longing for more? Maybe it was attending a concert you spent so long looking forward to and now you have to continue dealing with the challenges of life after the concert is over. Maybe it's buying a plane ticket and taking a vacation because it will be nice to relax and be joyful for a few days. We tend to forget the reality of our circumstances and chase the wrong things that ultimately leave us feeling unfulfilled and spiritually hungry. Make the decision today to chase after Jesus and feel eternally fulfilled knowing you have a Savior who will be with you every step of the way and leave you satisfied even in the lowest of moments.

EP 9: I'm Tired of Being The Strong One
This episode is not polished. I talk about what it feels like to constantly put on a brave face for someone who rarely ever shares her emotions, what it's like to hold everything in due to the fear of being a burden, and, lastly, what it feels like when healing isn't linear. I'm okay but then suddenly I'm not, and somehow, thats okay too. This episode includes:-Delayed heartbreak-Being called "too much" and started to believe it- Feeling silences in relationships-Why healing doesn't happen overnight-How Jesus is the only One who never gets tired of hearing you.If you've ever felt like you're too sensitive, too loud, too emotional ,or too exhausting... this isn for youYou are never too much for God, and you are allowed to feel everything you need to feel.

EP 8: I Got What I Wanted… Why Am I Still Empty?
Getting the things we want — whether it’s relationships, milestones, or even concert tickets — doesn’t actually fill the deeper spaces in our hearts.I talk about what it feels like to look “okay” on the outside while still struggling internally, learning to stop seeking fulfillment in people or experiences, and choosing to run to Jesus first instead of chasing temporary happiness. If you’ve ever felt stuck between gratitude and emptiness, or wondered why achieving something you prayed for didn’t bring the peace you expected, this conversation is for you. This episode is a reminder that joy can exist in the moment — but true fulfillment comes from God alone.

EP 7: Early Church Life vs. Where I'm at Now in my Spiritual Journey
As I began navigating my way back to my faith Sophomore year of college as well as post-break up, I decided to reflect back on life's challenges with my faith and relationship with Jesus, from my baptism as a baby to where I am now. This episode is an honest reflection on what it really means to follow Jesus—beyond routine, comfort, or checking boxes. I’m sharing my journey back to the Catholic faith, how seasons of stillness revealed my deepest idols, and why nothing—not relationships, success, appearance, or productivity—can replace God. We’re talking surrender, sacraments, identity, repentance, and learning how to love God more than the life we’re trying to build.

EP 5: I STAYED LONGER THAN I SHOULD HAVE ( a lesson God taught me)
It's not easy for us to discern situations & relationships if we're being held under manipulation tactics. We may believe we're doing the right thing until that very thing costs us our peace and relationship with God. Staying too long doesn’t mean you were weak — it means you were hopeful. In this episode, I talk about the guilt, discernment, obedience, and what happens when our focus slowly shifts away from God along with the confusion that comes after realizing you stayed longer than you should have. We unpack healing without self-blame, listening to your body and spirit, and allowing God to restore what was lost.

EP 4: GOD CAN'T BLESS WHAT YOU REFUSE TO RELEASE
Don’t Stay Where You’re ComfortableComfort can keep us stuck in places that don't serve whether it be relationships, environments, jobs, or friendships, we choose what feels good and necessary although it doesn't align with God's plan for us. We fail to realize that God has GREATER things in store for us but we don't want to step out of our bubble to see what that special blessing is. From prayer boards and trusting God with the unknown to learning how to walk away from what no longer serves you, this episode is a reminder that God’s path doesn’t always feel safe — but it always leads to peace. If you’ve ever ignored a gut feeling, stayed because it felt familiar, or struggled to let go even when God was nudging you forward, this conversation is for you. This is your sign to trust the Lord, release what’s comfortable, and make room for the blessing ahead.

EP 3: People Pleasing vs. God Pleasing
We all want to impress that boy or girl or that friend you really want to gain approval from. However, the only approval you need is from God. We've come to terms that the people we'll meet in this life are the ones we need to dumb ourselves down for to meet their expectations. God is the only one who you need to be making proud. He is the one who designed us perfectly AND individually. We will meet the people that are meant to be in our life and therefore we shouldn't put on a mask to the things that make us us just to fit in. In this episode, Ava speaks on tactics and realizations as to how we can step into our true character and why it's so beneficial.

EP 2: God Didn't Make A Mistake Creating You
It's a constant struggle trying to compete with all the noise and chaos on social media. From fitness influencers to models, it's hard to not feel as though we desperately NEED to look exactly like the people we're scrolling past on instagram or TikTok. We tend to get frustrated questioning why God made us the way that we are but the truth is, God didn't make a mistake creating you. In fact, God took every single second of his pressure time creating you uniquely and wonderful, different from everyone else. Fix your eyes on God, not social media. Fix your heart posture and recognize and understand that who you are is perfect in God's image. Although it's CRUCIAL to love ourselves whole and completely, the one true thing that matters most is... our hearts. Think about this question: What Will People Remember Most About You When You're Gone? It's not gonna be your hair, your body, whether or not your waist or arms were small enough or how your nose looks, none of that! So, instead of spending all of your time worrying about the WRONG things, worry about the mark you'll leave on this world and the positive impacts you can make on your family, friends, community, coworkers, etc. Step into your true Godly character and allow God to fix your heart posture now before it's too late.

FIRST EPISODE: The Blessing Of A Lesson
Navigating breakups, faith, and your relationship with Jesus can be tough. After reading Mel Robbins book, "The Let Them Theory" I dove deeper into the understanding of accepting people for who they are and not causing more hurt to yourself by begging for love that can't be given. We want so badly to be loved by those we believe are meant for us but, what if we chose to accept those who have hurt us instead, and simply decide to love without expecting reciprocation? In this first episode of the Holy & Honest podcast, I talk about navigating my very first relationship at 21 that I truly thought was blessed by God. See how I decided to approach the post-break up feelings and how I came out of something, that didn't serve me, feeling more like myself than I ever have before.
