Send us Fan MailWhat does it really mean to have autonomy as a Black, queer artist in an industry that rewards conformity? This week, I’m joined by musician Oya Noire for a raw and honest conversation about building a creative life on your own terms—even when the system pushes you to perform, produce, and shrink yourself to fit in. We unpack the tension between identity, ambition, and survival, and what it takes to stay rooted in authenticity while navigating visibility, pressure, and growth. We talk about:The moment she realized her voice had power—and that music was her pathHow love, heartbreak, and real-life experiences shape her soundWhat performing at SXSW revealed about the industryWhy she stepped away from music—and what that break taught herWhat creative autonomy actually looks like for herIf you’ve ever felt torn between being fully yourself and “making it,” this conversation is for you.Want video? What Does Luxury Really Mean? Ft. Simone Alexis

Send us Fan MailThis week I'm joined by fashion and luxury extraordinaire, Simone Alexis Webb, who has a way of romanticizing her life. But this conversation goes beyond designer labels and soft life aesthetics. We're talking luxury, dating, the importance of having hobbies, and the narratives women casually adopt without realizing the impact. We unpack what luxury truly means outside of the designer goods, traveling, and tangible things. Why must luxury look different for black women than it does for everyone else? We dive into the viral "I'm just a girl" plight - is it harmless humor, soft femininity, or a subtle regression for grown women? Are we reclaiming something...or shrinking ourselves? We also unpack the real difference between dating and courting (yes, there is one), and what each says about standards, intention, and effort in 2026.This episode is layered, and you already know we're not holding back!Follow  Zee on IG at @toptier_zeeSubscribe to the YouTube channel at as we are rebuilding that platform from scratch again. https://youtube.com/@HonestlyThoPod?si=-VAJ1ZkzcElIyeQJ

Obesity Epidemic: Stop the Denial, Start the Treatment!

Send us Fan MailThis week I deep dive into a couple different topics such as women doing solo Valentine's Day photoshoots and wanting to know the purpose of these shoots. Why are single women doing these photoshoots to post to their Instagram feeds on Valentine's Day?Am I the only person who thought Kendrick Lamar's halftime performance wasn't entertaining? I give me opinion on his performance and why I was not impressed despite getting his message and seeing his vision. Is 50 Cent too emotional or just petty? I take a deep dive into 50 Cent’s online behavior, feuds, and whether or not his antics are strategic or just emotional reactions. I also discuss obesity being a disease in the black community and Dank Demoss wanting to sue Lyft for “discrimination” because the driver asked her to call another car to accommodate her size. I discuss whether or not she needs mental help because according to her, her brain doesn’t think she’s as big as she is. Is the black community killing themselves by being unhealthy?I close out by calling out women for their lack of support of each other and the way we judge each other when others do things that do not align with us. We are not a monolith, and social media isn’t a real place, and it’s time we come to terms with these things 🤷🏾‍♀️Follow  Zee on IG at @toptier_zeeSubscribe to the YouTube channel at as we are rebuilding that platform from scratch again. https://youtube.com/@HonestlyThoPod?si=-VAJ1ZkzcElIyeQJ

Where Did You Learn How To Be Romantic?

Send us Fan MailIn this solo episode, I pose the question of whose responsibility is it to teach a man how to be romantic? Is it something he should just know, or is it his partner's responsibility to teach him what romance means to her? I also speak about being in my villain era and what that looks like for me and those around me, not wanting to be around people who are who not committed to doing the work to better themselves. I close out the episode with the realization that "I am not a high maintenance girlie" in the way some girls these days are. Why Women Should Masturbate More Ft. Jody

Send us Fan MailThis week I'm joined by returned guest JodyPhro, host of the podcast "Her Nut Matters" to talk all things from the "4B Movement" which is a cultural movement from South Asia where women are saying no to children, heterosexual marriage, dating men, and sex. Are they hurting themselves or doing something that will benefit them in the future? I asked Jody if she could see herself participating in this movement.Jody has rebranded and launched a new podcast titled "Her Nut Matters," whose name speaks for itself. We dive into why women should get to know themselves through touching, sensuality, and literally having sex with themselves. In an age where sex is rushed and the focus in on men's pleasure, Jody urges women to have sex with themselves the same way they would like men to have sex with them, so they could communicate those things to a man when the time comes. She emphasizes the importance of foreplay and learning to have non-penetrative sex.She speaks about her experience on reality TV, what's real and what isn't, and if she'd do it again. She also opens up about how she deals with the people who are sending hate her way based on how she was portrayed on reality TV and the importance of knowing herself and living in her truth so the negativity doesn't get the best of her.Follow  Zee on IG at @toptier_zeeSubscribe to the YouTube channel at as we are rebuilding that platform from scratch again. https://youtube.com/@HonestlyThoPod?si=-VAJ1ZkzcElIyeQJ

    We're Leaving Twerking & Vaping in 2024...Please!

Send us Fan MailHappy New Year everyone! While last year was "ghetto" for many, It's important to find gratitude in the small things. I kick off this episode with three things I am grateful for from 2024, and three things I am looking forward to in this new year. Ladies, can you be with a man who is bisexual or have had sexual experiences with other men in the past? Is there a difference between being bi-phobic and having a preference? Personally, there's already enough competition amongst women, I do not need to be competing with men as well for my man. Let me know your thoughts in the comments. As we kick off the new year, what are some dealbreakers / things you are not taking into the year with you? I list my three which are to stop supporting people / friends who do not support me, relationships that lack reciprocity, and bringing work home with me. I realize I need to be more grounded and focused on me, and the new year is a fresh start to do so and to prioritize what's important to me.I get into 5 things women need to start doing this year from a man's perspective and according to this man he would like to see women be more accountable, shoot their shot at men, treat the men in their lives to dates or just doing nice things for them, embrace their natural beauty, and prioritize their health and fitness. As a woman, I give my take on these and also give some advice to those who would like to incorporate any of these things into their lives.Am I the only one who's tired of seeing women at social gatherings just twerking, vaping, and taking selfies? I miss the days when women held themselves to a higher regard instead of constantly shaking their a**es every chance they get. Can we bring back social gatherings where we actually spoke to and interacted with the people around us? In addition, are these women delusional for wanting to be treated a certain way by a man while portraying this behavior? I had to get this off my chest!Download and share this episode if you enjoyed it. Follow  Zee on IG at @toptier_zeeSubscribe to the YouTube channel at as we are rebuilding that platform from scratch again. https://youtube.com/@HonestlyThoPod?si=-VAJ1ZkzcElIyeQJ

    Olympic Dating For Single Women

Send us Fan MailOn this week’s solo episode, I share some stories on the importance of being nurtured as a parent, having a village, and treating other children the way you would like others to treat your own. Sometimes as parents things get hard and having anyone whether a stranger or someone you know extend grace to you can make a big impact. I also discuss the importance of being vocal about your wants and needs in your relationship or while dating to avoid building resentment. With all things, it’s not what you say, but how you say it, so be intentional to avoid hurting the other person’s feelings. Sometimes we let things fester and the smallest disagreement or situation ends up breaking up our relationships and bonds. And at times this can be avoided if we keep communication open and be vocal about what is and isn’t working. Dating coach Anwar White suggests that single women should date three men at a time to avoid being hyper focused on one man and to compare and contrast to figure out what is best for you. My producer argues that women should not date more than one person at a time and while men can do so to weigh their options, it taints the decision making process for women. I strongly disagree. Let me know who you agree with in the comments below. Follow  Zee on IG at @toptier_zeeSubscribe to the YouTube channel at as we are rebuilding that platform from scratch again. https://youtube.com/@HonestlyThoPod?si=-VAJ1ZkzcElIyeQJ

Can You Be In A Poly Relationship?

Send us Fan MailThis week I’m joined by dominant Sir Leezus to talk all things from kinks and fetishes to dom/sub dynamics, poly relationships, and so much more. Sir Leezus shares how he got his name, how he got into BDSM, and the different dynamics in that culture. During the Fast 5 of would you rather, he reveals probably one of the most trifling things a person could do while having sex 😭We also discuss how he makes his long distance poly relationship work for him and his two partners, unbalanced PH levels, and the understandings in each relationship. As long as everyone is on the same page, it seems to work and benefit all members involved. Sir shares some of his most embarrassing moments while performing and one of them almost made me throw up in my mouth. I share my kink and encourage Sir to share one with me that many people do not know about him. While he is very open and vulnerable about his kinks and fetishes, I wasn’t expecting him to bring up feet in the way that he did. Have you ever had a woman ride your feet before? Or ladies, have you ever ridden a man’s feet? 👀We close out the episode with some demonstrations of electric play and flogging on me. Like, comment, share, and subscribe if you enjoyed this episode. Send us Fan MailThis week I'm joined by my friend and self taught designer Jessie Rhea to discuss all things from her new collection, navigating letting go of people and friendships that no longer serve you, dating in NYC versus dating in California, and the lost art form of synergy between the masculine and feminine.  Jessie describes her design process and challenging herself to learn to make new pieces of clothing and not sticking to what she’s comfortable with. We also speak about how we may lose others when we're pouring into ourselves and are goal oriented, and the importance of committing to self when being called to do so. We also get into the lost form of synergy between the masculine and feminine, and how this is affecting our interactions with the opposite sex.Follow  Zee on IG at @toptier_zeeSubscribe to the YouTube channel at as we are rebuilding that platform from scratch again. https://youtube.com/@HonestlyThoPod?si=-VAJ1ZkzcElIyeQJ

Honestly Tho...Do Strippers Really Want Your Man or Their Money?

Send us Fan MailThis week I'm joined by strippers and activists against censorship Redd and Sativah, who share their latest project "F*ck The Shadow Ban"  which aims to serve as a community for adult content, after experiencing shadow banning across social media platforms like Instagram. The ladies discuss how being shadow banned has affected their efforts in growing their pole dancing community and business opportunities as strippers. We pose the question of "who does shadow banning protect, and who is being affected by it?They take me down their path on how they got into stripping, how it has helped their confidence and sensuality, and how being in the strip club and interacting with a wide range of men has shown them the difficulty men have with being vulnerable with the "close" people in their lives. Both Sativah and Redd feel like the strip club serves as safe space and fantasy land for some men based on the conversations they have had while dancing. We discuss what it's like being a stripper and how it has affected their relationship with their parents and family. Redd opens up about hiding that part of her for years to appease to her parents and finally having the courage to be transparent with them about what she does for a living. She explains the feeling of finally being "free" and living for herself and the joy that has brought her.We close out the episode with what we've been listening to and has been on repeat for us, in which you will learn, none of us can sing or hold a note for that matter.Follow  Zee on IG at @toptier_zeeSubscribe to the YouTube channel at as we are rebuilding that platform from scratch again. https://youtube.com/@HonestlyThoPod?si=-VAJ1ZkzcElIyeQJ

Honestly Tho...Do People Gatekeep Because They're Insecure? Ft. Bearded

Send us Fan MailThis week, I’m joined by super producer, music prodigy, and founder of the genre RNBOP, Bbearded to talk all things from growing up in the church to how this has influenced his music style to working with artists in the industry, and so much more. Bbearded shares what it was like growing up in Harlem and in the church and introducing the sounds he heard in church to RnB to influence a genre of music he calls RNBOP. He describes this genre to be more of a feeling than it is a sound, as he reminisces on how he used to feel hearing certain instruments play while in church. He also opens up about his first time experience as an executive producer and the magnitude of knowledge and work ethic he had to dedicate to this journey in his career. Bbearded has worked on two movies; B-boy Blues and The Lost Holliday, and sees creative direction as the next step in his career. He expresses how much he dislikes people who gatekeep and how it does more harm than good.  Do people gatekeep and avoid putting others onto opportunities and even introducing them to something new because of their own insecurities? As a community, if we see potential in someone or they express interest in what we’re doing, shouldn’t we want to put them on especially if it’s something that we are passionate about? Is gatekeeping preventing us from reaching our full potential as a community? Honestly Tho...Do Women Really Want to See Each Other Win? Ft. Cree

Send us Fan MailIn celebration of women's history month, this week I'm joined by Cree, who is a professional in the music industry with her role as Senior Manager of Artist Services for the music/audio platform Audiomack. Cree and I discuss her role at Audiomack and her journey into the music industry from the age of 17 from interning at a radio station, to moving to NYC not long before the pandemic and having to move back home to Florida, and initially being turned down by Audiomack before being offered another position. She opens up about some of the challenges she faces as a woman working with other women, and the lack of solidarity amongst women in the workplace in fear of there not being enough room for everyone. Cree and I urge women to practice what they preach and to champion, support, and uplift other women in their daily lives. I had the honor of speaking about her dating life and navigating dating especially with her role in the music industry. Cree gets transparent as she shares her experience and the anxiety that dating makes her feel sometimes. She questions people's motives and intentions, therefore usually revealing the not so good things about herself first, to see what the other person is willing to put up with and how patient they're willing to be. As much as she opens up, she protects her heart at all costs, because we all know, not everything and everyone is as they may seem, and when you have access to the music industry like Cree does, you need to be sure if people want to get to know you, or access to the world you work in.Follow  Zee on IG at @toptier_zeeSubscribe to the YouTube channel at as we are rebuilding that platform from scratch again. https://youtube.com/@HonestlyThoPod?si=-VAJ1ZkzcElIyeQJ

Frenchy and I speak about her getting shot at the age of 15 which resulted in her being paralyzed for the rest of her life, how her parents have spoken life into her so that her confidence wasn't affected by this disability, and so much more.Frenchy opens up about navigating motherhood while disable, the lessons she is teaching her son, and how her disability has propelled her son's independence and empathy. We speak about motherhood and the pressure to have our lives revolve around our children to avoid the guilt of not "doing enough." As parents, we sometimes feel guilty for not having the time to dedicate to our children when working or simply pouring into ourselves but, should our lives revolve around our children? I open up about a conversation I had telling my daughter that my life doesn't revolve around her, to avoid growing up entitled and thinking that she should be the center of everyone's world. I hope this conversation enables other mothers especially to always do the best that they can for their children, but to also remember to do the best for themselves too!Follow  Zee on IG at @toptier_zeeSubscribe to the YouTube channel at as we are rebuilding that platform from scratch again. https://youtube.com/@HonestlyThoPod?si=-VAJ1ZkzcElIyeQJ

Honestly Tho...The Truth Ain't Always Sweet Ft. Billboard Benny

Send us Fan MailThis week, I am joined by a friend of the show, Billboard Benny, as he gears up to release his latest body of work, "This Life is a Novela" which drops next Friday, January 26th. In his new project, Benny highlights some of his experiences with past relationships, and is vulnerable about ways his been hurt in the past. While his delivery is raw and vulnerable, and he is story telling through his lyrics, Benny hopes that women can listen to gain understanding on how some of their behaviors may hurt men. As a woman, I know sometimes it is hard to hear the truth about ourselves, and we like things to be sugar coated so they land a softer blow, but I think once we move away from the defense, we can better receive Benny’s message. Stay tuned for the release of “This Life is a Novela” which drops next week Friday. Honestly Tho...Is a BBL an investment? Ft. Desi

Send us Fan MailThis week I'm joined by Desi, who is no stranger to podcasting as she is the host of the highly anticipated podcast The Zen Den Podcast, as well as the owner of Flow 4 Fluidity, where she us "bridging the gap between women and their feminine energy through movement."  She also dances, and curates the vibes, so you know this episode is flying high as we talk about our words of the year, BBL culture and what men like, gender wars, and so much more.We kick off the episode with a speed round of "this or that", to break the ice. We then got into our word of the year and how it has affected us. Desi speaks about discernment, and why at times she hasn't utilized it the best while I speak about alignment everything from friendships, to relationships, and creative ideas.Being a former dancer, Desi speaks about BBL culture and women who work in the sex industry who get BBLs as an investment to make more money. While this is understandable, we question why "everyday women" get cosmetic surgeries. Is it for male attention, or are they doing it for themselves? While on the topic, we react to a clip of a man basically saying "women with BBLs are like Ferraris you rent out while in Miami. They're fun to have fun with, but not taken seriously." Desi and I are not sure if that is exactly the case, seeing that men love to pamper and wine and dine women with BBLs.
