Season 4 E6 - Sneakersnstuff and Engaging Customers in the Digital Era

As the lines blur between the physical and digital environment, multiple channels will become more prevalent in the customer’s path to purchase. So how do you keep up with it all and where should you focus your energy? How do successful companies do this? Are there any secret tricks or hidden ingredients in the sauce? And, by the way, just as we learned what omni-channel was, is it turning into something called phigital? To find out more on the topic we invited Kieran Clinton-Tarestad, Chief Digital Officer of one of the world’s hottest brands, Sneakersnstuff. Sneakersnstuff (SNS) is a leading sneaker retail brand. Physically located in Stockholm, but have successfully opened stores in Berlin, London, Paris, New York City (including the SNS Bar) and Los Angeles and are on their way to Tokyo. They have been so dominant and influential in cultivating their community that brands like Nike and Adidas now turn to SNS to validate their designs. SNS has no big signs outside their stores. But, once you step into their world you know you’ve found something special! We felt the same way when speaking to Kieran. We did not know what to expect but it turns out we found a hidden gem and guru and future TED X talker for sure on the topic. After recording the episode, we all felt like smarter people.
