The New Testament is literally filled with scriptures that use the phrases "In Him, By Him, Through Him, By Christ and In Christ". Notice that these phrases speak of a work God did IN Christ but in all of these scriptures although God did the work IN Christ, Christ is NEVER the beneficiary. It is always IN Him, FOR Us!
