As a growing church seeking a bigger building, we find ourselves in a season of waiting. Elder Daniel Cameron explores the theme of waiting through the Bible asking: What does "active waiting" mean? How can we wait well? And how can we make the most of the time whilst we wait?

Today is Easter Sunday and associate pastor Ben Dale explores the account of the disciples meeting the risen Jesus on the road to Emmaus. Do we believe Jesus actually rose from the dead, and if we do - what difference does that make?

On Palm Sunday, Sarah-Jane Marshall continued our walk through the book of Luke looking at Jesus' coming to Jerusalem as King. Associate Pastor Ben Dale continues our series on Luke looking at the calling of Levi.

Lead pastor, Stuart Otto looks at the accounts of Jesus healing a leper and a lame man. Who do we identify with - the leperous man accutely aware of his need, the interceding friend, the paralysed man or the Pharasee? And what do these passages reveal about Jesus?

In this third part in our ongoing series working through the Gospel of Luke, lead pastor Stuart Otto looked at Jesus' temptation in the wilderness. Stuart explores the reality of the evil one, how he operates and his limitations, and how we can approach resisting temptation.

On Sunday our guest speaker, Keath Gaitskell continued our new series looking at the Gospel of Luke. He spoke into how the words of John the Baptist would have unsettled contemporary hearers and should continue to challenge us today. 

Our lead pastor, Stuart Otto, kicked off our new sermon series looking at the life of Jesus recorded in the Gospel of Luke. He challenged us to have our 'four wheels aligned' as we too seek to grow in wisdom, stature and favour with God and man. 

This Sunday was a special day with baptisms at both of our morning services. Ahead of testimonies from those being baptised, our associate pastor Ben brought a short talk on the topic of Truth based on John 18:33-38.

In this one-off talk, long-standing member of Jubilee and youth leader, Peter talks about the 6 S's of Steering - 6 tools to turn for when trying to made decisions in line with God's will. This is a helpful talk drawing together many of the ideas discussed in our church DNA series.

As we look to the year ahead, Esther brings encouragement and practical tips for how to "stand in the gap" and pray ever-fervently for the needs of the people, places and world around us.

Continuing our Advent series on the themes of Love, Peace, Hope and Joy, today our senior pastor Stuart Otto explores the gift of Peace Christ brings.
