The loss of a parent can be an extremely devastating ordeal. Having lost my father to cancer a little over a year ago I have found the emotional roller coaster can be a difficult one to deal with. Our guest Gabbie recently lost her father to cancer as well so we decided to sit down and talk about our stories together for you all to hear. If you're going through a loss of a loved one know you're not alone in the emotional battle. Your feelings are valid and the amount of emotion both positive and negative can be quite overwhelming at times. Keep fighting your way through the struggle and keep the good memories alive of those you loved.

On this episode I am joined by my friend Jen who has seen life through multiple lenses. Jen converted to the L.D.S. faith in her early 20's and later left the church for personal reasons, which she talks to us about. She also considered herself a conservative in the political realm but has since shifted to a more liberal perspective. It was a pleasure to sit down and have a conversation about the current state of the political world and why she views the world the way she does.

Steve gives insight on how he came into the business of being a Funeral Director, Mortician, and the ins and outs of the funeral industry, We learn about compassion for families who have recently lost a loved one and the importance of planning ahead. Throughout my Father's passing Steve and his team at Peel Funeral Home were supportive, understanding and helped us throughout the process and for that I will be eternally grateful.

The world lost a great man on October 1st, 2024. My father was pivotal in not only my life but many others around the world. His loss was, and still is, a difficult emotional journey. On this episode I'm joined by my Sister Candice and good friend Lacey as we talk about the loss of my father, his battle against lung cancer, and the emotions we felt along the way.

Sohmer spent 17 days abroad traveling the lands of Scotland and shares her experience with us on this episode. We also share our personal stories of struggle as of late with Sohmer and her recent surgery and my father's declining health.
