    Episode 35 - Appointed Times

This week on Kosher News & Torah Talk, we explore the powerful meaning of Moed—appointed times—through the lens of Pesach Sheni, the Torah’s built-in second chance. As tensions rise and nations align, are we witnessing random events… or divinely appointed moments coming back around? From Israel’s security posture to global pressure and developments in Judea and Samaria, this episode uncovers a deeper pattern: when Yah sets a time, He can also restore it. A missed moment is not always the end—sometimes, it’s an invitation to realign. Stay watchful. Stay grounded. And don’t miss the appointed time.

Episode 34 - Scapegoat or Fallen Angel?

This week on Kosher News & Torah Talk* we uncover the deeper meaning of Azazel—the scapegoat that carries sin away—and why it still matters today. From the Torah’s Yom Kippur service to Isaiah 53’s suffering servant, we trace the pattern of confession, atonement, and removal of iniquity. Then we connect it directly to current headlines out of Israel—where accountability, mercy, and historical wounds are all colliding in real time. Is sin meant to be carried… or released? This episode reveals how an ancient command is still speaking into modern Israel—and what it means for the nations watching. WE tie this all together with the headline about an IDF soldier who desecrated a Christian Crucifix, the response of Israel and the nations and how it all led to a tremendous opportunity to being about restoration and healing! Episode 33 - The Fire Of Yah

As Israel intensifies precision strikes deep into Iran and firepower reshapes the battlefield, this week’s episode centers on the Hebrew word Esh (אֵשׁ)—fire. In Parashat Tzav, Adonai commands that the fire on the altar must never go out. This eternal flame represents continuity, obedience, and the ongoing presence of Yah. But in today’s headlines, we are witnessing another kind of fire—one used in warfare to dismantle weapons systems, neutralize threats, and confront expanding aggression. What is the difference between holy fire and destructive fire? What does it mean when fire is commanded… versus when it is unleashed? This episode explores: -Israel’s deepening campaign against Iran’s military infrastructure -The rise of multi-front regional pressure -The growing battle over truth in the information war -And how the Torah’s command of Esh tamid speaks directly into this moment Through Torah, we examine how fire is never random—it refines, reveals, and responds to alignment. As the nations shift and tensions rise, we remain anchored in what does not change: the Word of Adonai, the covenant with Israel, and the call to remain watchful. 🔥 The fire is burning. The question is—who is sustaining it? Join us as we discern the headlines through Torah and remain steadfast on the watch. Episode 32 - Korban- Draw Near

In this week’s episode, we explore the powerful meaning behind the Hebrew word Korban (kor-BAHN), which means to draw near. At a time when tensions are rising in Israel and across the region, the natural instinct is often to distance ourselves, but Torah teaches a different path—drawing near to Adonai, to our homes, and to one another. We go deeper into the meaning of Korban through its Paleo-Hebrew roots, showing how each letter—Qof, Resh, Bet, and Nun—reveals a pattern of moving toward the future, aligning under authority, establishing truth within the home, and producing lasting generational impact. Even in times of pressure, the message of Torah remains steady: draw near with intention, order, and faithfulness. This episode also covers key developments in the region, including tensions involving Iran, fragile negotiations in Gaza, and continued pressure along Israel’s northern front. Alongside this, we bring practical insight for parents, focusing on how to build a home marked by stability, clarity, and presence—where children are grounded in truth even in uncertain times.

    Episode 31 - A Calculated Reckoning

This week on Kosher News & Torah Talk, we explore a powerful Hebrew word from the Torah portion Vayakhel–Pekudei: Cheshbon (חֶשְׁבּוֹן). Cheshbon means an accounting, a reckoning, a careful examination of what has been entrusted to someone’s care. In Exodus 38, Moshe presents the full accounting of the materials used to build the Mishkan. Nothing hidden. Nothing misused. Everything measured. But the deeper meaning of the word reaches even further. In this episode we explore: • The Paleo-Hebrew meaning of the letters in Cheshbon • The Hebrew root חשב (Chashav) — to think, plan, calculate, and reckon • How the Torah connects planning with accountability • Why the Mishkan required complete transparency before the Presence of Adonai could dwell among the people We look at this week’s developments surrounding Israel — diplomatic tensions, regional pressure, and security challenges — through the lens of cheshbon. Because Scripture reminds us of a timeless truth: Every human calculation eventually meets divine accounting. Join us as we watch the headlines through Torah, seeking wisdom, discernment, and covenant faithfulness in a turbulent time.

Episode 30 - Corruption of the Covenant

In this week’s episode of Kosher News & Torah Talk, we examine one of the most dramatic moments in the Torah: the sin of the Golden Calf in Parashat Ki Tisa. While Moses stood before Adonai on Mount Sinai, confusion and pressure spread through the camp of Israel. In a matter of hours, a people who had witnessed the miracles of the Exodus turned toward a man-made image. The Torah describes this moment with a powerful Hebrew word: שִׁחֵת — Shichet. Meaning corruption or destruction, the deeper Paleo Hebrew picture reveals something even more profound: the breaking of covenant boundaries that protect a people’s identity. In this episode we explore: • The Hebrew word Shichet and its deeper meaning • The Golden Calf and how chaos spreads inside a community • Modern narrative warfare and attempts to fracture alliances supporting Israel • Why the Torah’s warning in Ki Tisa remains deeply relevant today From Sinai to today’s headlines, the Torah reminds us that nations are not weakened only by external enemies—but also when confusion and division spread within. Join us as we examine the news through the lens of Torah, prophecy, and covenant faithfulness.

    Episode 29 - Pure & Pressed

The lion has roared. The nations are watching. Jerusalem is under pressure. But Torah teaches that pressure is not panic — it is refinement. This week we explore two powerful Hebrew words from Shemot 27:20:Zakh (זַךְ) — pure.Katit (כָּתִית) — pressed. The oil for the menorah had to be both. Clear and crushed. Set apart and refined. As Israel faces rising global tension and we approach Purim with the command to remember Amalek, we ask:What does covenant purity look like under covenant pressure? From Tetzaveh to Gethsemane — the oil press — we examine a timeless pattern:Pressing produces light. No hype. No predictions. Just Torah clarity for a season of refinement. When the world is being pressed, who will carry pure oil?Stay watchful. Stay refined.REGISTER ON ECHAD FOR FREE!echadglobal.org

    Episode 28 - Lifted Up

In this week’s episode of Kosher News & Torah Talk, we explore a powerful contrast unfolding before our eyes. As military assets reposition across the Middle East and global powers assert strategic dominance over the waters, the Torah portion begins not with force — but with an offering. Our Hebrew Word of the Day is Terumah — a lifted contribution, given willingly from the heart (Exodus 25:2). From its root Rum, meaning “to exalt” or “to establish authority,” we uncover a profound prophetic pattern: The nations lift power but Israel is called to lift covenant. We examine the rich Paleo Hebrew breakdown, to discover its deeper dimensions and we examine: • The expanding military posture in the Middle East • Strategic deterrence and regional stability • The elevation of controversial leadership within international institutions Without hype or speculation, we ask: What does it mean to lift something up in a time of geopolitical pressure? This episode is a call to lift what matters most. When the waters churn, what you elevate determines what dwells among you. Listen. Reflect. Lift wisely. Please share this one of a kind podcast so we can turn more hearts away from media narratives and back to Torah. #IsraelNews #TorahPortion #Terumah #Exodus25 #FaithAndCulture #MiddleEastUpdate #Jerusalem #Watchman #BibleStudyPodcast #HebrewWord #LeadershipMatters #CovenantFaith #PrayForIsrael #PropheticInsight #TorahLife #SpiritualPerspective #FaithBasedPodcast #GlobalPerspective

Episode 27 - Confirming the Covenant

This week on Kosher News & Torah Talk, Aja Jade explores the biblical meaning of brit (covenant) through Exodus 24:7 and Parashat Mishpatim. As global headlines focus on peace agreements, lawsuits, and international pressure on Israel, we step back to ask a deeper question: What aligns with Yah’s eternal covenant? Discover how covenant establishes authority, responsibility, justice, and identity — and why true shalom can never exist apart from righteous alignment with Torah. Anchored in covenant. Anchored in truth. #middleeastnews #bibleinaction #torahinaction #torah #mishpatim #prophecynews #zionnews

Episode 26 - Hearing the Voice of Yah

The nations are loud, the headlines are crowded, and pressure is mounting — yet this week’s Torah portion returns us to Sinai, where Israel learned to hear one Voice above all others. In this episode of Kosher News & Torah Talk, we explore current global and Israel-related headlines through the lens of Shema — hearing that leads to obedience. From rising regional tensions to diplomatic pressure on Israel, we ask the same question first posed at Sinai: whose voice will shape our response — the nations, or Yah?https://www.yihiohr.org/praise...

  11. 27

Episode 25 - Faithfulness at the Waters

This week we look at the pattern of trusting in Yah beyond human understanding both in the Torah portion and in the things happening on the world stage. We examine the word Milchamah “war” and its deeper meanings and put a special lens on the role of prophetic worship in warfare a topic we will build on in future episodes. Episode 24 - Peace Peace Yet there is no Shalom

The word shalom is spoken constantly — by leaders, diplomats, and institutions — yet blood continues to cry out from the ground. In this episode of Kosher News & Torah Talk, we examine the growing gap between declared peace and biblical shalom. From Iran’s silenced streets, to the slaughter of minorities in Syria, to international plans for Gaza that bypass Israel, while declaring a 'Board of Peace' we ask a Torah-rooted question: What does peace actually mean? Using the Hebrew word shalom, its Paleo-Hebrew dimensions, this week’s parashah Bo, and the Haftarah from Jeremiah, we uncover a sobering biblical truth: Peace does not come from silence, force, or announcements — it comes after truth, accountability, and covenant order. This is not media spin, political polarization, or personal opinions. This is News through the lens of Torah - offering clarity for confused times. We are not predicting. We are watching & discerning. Episode 20 - Return to the Watchtower

When we look across today’s headlines, from Venezuela’s political crisis to Iran’s internal unrest and Israel’s watchful defense, it is easy to see chaos — but Scripture invites us to see covenant. Our Hebrew word of the week is שָׁמַר — Shamar — meaning to watch, to guard, to keep, to preserve with care teaches that whether in Eden, in Jacob’s heart, in the priestly duty, or in Israel’s collective calling, Shamar describes a holy attentiveness — to Yah’s word, to His covenant, to His people, and to His presence. Yah allows what is hidden to be revealed so that what is eternal can stand.www.yihiohr.org Find out more about the United Nations for Israel:https://unitednationsforisrael... As we are seeing the gathering of people for war begin we explore the preparation of the three layers of covering of the tabernacle and the importance of YHVHs covering! NOTE: In 35:35 I mention both Cannan and Sodom which were culturally related in this practice for new brides, as well as child sacrifice, and the gang rape of travelers, among other things. However, I want to clarify that obviously they existed at different times and were not contemperaneous cultures. Still this practice originated first in ancient Sodom and was at the time of the Cannanites still in practice. My point here is that in both cases of divine judgement being brought to bear it was detestable practices such as these motivating the Most High to intervene- or direct intervention through His people.
