Passage(s): Ecclesiastes 11:1-6The first and most important step to investing your life well is to get in line with what God is doing on the earth! The only way to make the most of your life is to live your life investing in the Kingdom of God through the investing in the people of God! 

Passage(s): Ecclesiastes 8:1-13 Authority comes from God. Your submission to your earthly authority must reflect your trust in your heavenly authority.

Passage(s): Ecclesiastes 9:1-10 If you want a good life, you need gospel perspective, focus, and joy. Enjoyment begins with God, it is more about contentment than content, and includes labor. 

Passage(s): Ecclesiastes 7:1-6, Philippians 3:18-21In a world of beauty and horrors, Christ is calling us to be a people of sober joy.  Christ is calling us to imitate Him and His Apostles and saints throughout the church age in being people who grieve the sin of this world, who run towards the sufferings of others, who lay down our comforts, our parties, and our privileges for the advance of the Gospel and the ingathering of the elect! 

Passage: 1 Corinthians 15 The heart of the Christian Gospel is that Jesus Christ – the eternal Son of the only God – lived, died, and was raised from the dead so that He could save His people from the power of Sin and Death!

Passage(s): Ecclesiastes 5:8-6:9 Earthly gain will never wholly satisfy nor last beyond the grave. Wealth is a gift to be stewarded for God’s glory, from whom our lasting satisfaction comes.

Passage(s): Ecclesiastes 1:1-11, 3:9-15, 12:13-14 Trying to possess and find meaning in the things of this world is a losing battle, instead, we must receive all the good things God has made as temporary but blessed gifts. The Preacher is telling you that only those who know God can rightly engage with the world that was made by God!

Passage(s): Matthew 24:36-46Matthew 25 is given to set in writing the unfailing promise that Jesus is coming. Don’t ever waste a day assuming you have tomorrow. Seek every day to live in preparation for the moment you stand before Jesus.

Passage(s): Revelation 20:7-10 We are in a cosmic war, but we already know how it ends; Christ is victorious. As we live in the already and not yet, we must dwell in peace, wage war, and hold on to hope. 

Passage(s): Revelation 20:11-15 On the day of Judgement, the only people who will be saved are those whom God has chosen in Christ, and who have conquered by a life of faith. Therefore, cling to Christ and look for His coming. 

Passage(s): Revelation 21:1-22:5 Jesus has come and is coming to conquer sin and death and build a city for His people. This city is a place of unending light and life and joy, because in this city, God has made His home among His people.

Passage(s): Psalm 119:9-16God’s Word is a treasure, therefore we must treasure it. We need God to move in our hearts so that we can hide His Word in our hearts and guard our hearts! 

Passage(s): Ephesians 5:17-21, 6:1-9 In the Kingdom of God, all authority is given that we might better serve God and others. In Christ, we are called to submit ourselves to one another, honoring every authority and using all authority to build others up.  

Passage(s): Ephesians 5:17-33 The fundamental posture, not only for marriage but for every Christian relationship, is self-submission. The meaning of marriage is to be a living picture of the self-giving, all-redeeming love of Jesus Christ for His people. The love which finds it’s consummation not in any earthly union, but in the marriage which begins at the end and never comes to an end.

Passage(s): Ephesians 5:1-21 Walking in the light is inherently rooted in our new identity in Christ. Children of light must live in resistance to participation in the ways of darkness and expose the darkness by walking in the light. 

Passage(s): Ephesians 4 Our relationships with each other are either a reflection or refutation of the Gospel’s power in our life. We must lay aside a purposeless approach to relationships. 

Passage(s): Ephesians 2:19-22To miss the church is to miss the Gospel, because the church is why Christ was born, lived, died, and was raised. And because of that, the church, and whatever it is, is at the very heart of God’s plan for the universe.

Passage(s): Ephesians 1:15-23 The beginning of a healthy, biblical identity is joyful submission to Christ as Lord. The Gospel shaped identity puts its hope in Jesus, not self. 

Passage(s): Ephesians 1:3-14 Our undeserving and sin-filled hearts are dependent on God's grace to bring salvation through Christ. In Christ, the legal demands of our sin have been satisfied and in Christ our family status and identity have changed.

Matthew 7:7-11 God is our gracious provider and our sovereign King. We must bring every request to Him in full confidence that He is a Good Father who knows and provides what we need.

Passage(s): Psalm 19 The Law of the Lord is perfect! It is more precious than gold and sweeter than honey and it restores the soul. 

Passage(s) : Matthew 6 Everlasting treasure and freedom from worry are found by those who seek first the Kingdom of God! The only thing that lasts is the Kingdom of Christ.

Passage(s): Psalm 46 You can always tell who your refuge is by where you take refuge. 

Matthew 5:38-48 Your love for people displays your love for God. In any area we reject to be shaped and ruled by God’s love, including our love for our enemies or persecutors, we are rejecting the Gospel.

Passage(s): Matthew 5:21-26God’s people must be a people of reconciliation and forgiveness. And we can reconcile and forgive because in Christ Jesus we have been reconciled to God and are forgiven. 

Passage(s): Matthew 5:17-20Jesus did not come to abolish the law. Instead, He came to fulfill, to teach, and to lead us into a life of obedience to the Law of God!

Passage(s): Matthew 5:13-16 Disciples of Jesus have been set apart as the salt and light of the world. The Christian life is the constant, grace-empowered pursuit of deeper, truer, and more lasting godliness in every area.

Passage(s): Matthew 5:1-11 God wants to make us happy through a life of earthly hardships.  

Passage(s): Matthew 4:12-17The Kingdom has come, and the light has dawned. A life apart of this Kingdom is one that has heard the message of King Jesus, has believed what He has spoken, and therefore, responds with a life of seeking the King and His Kingdom in every area of life!

Passage(s): Mark 10:17-31If you’re not connected to the source, you won’t find lasting life. But when you do connect to the true source, which is Christ Jesus, you will find life far richer than what this world can offer!

Genesis 50:15-21The ground of a gracious life is faith in the God of Grace! We are called to radical grace with each other in response to God’s radical grace for us. 

Passage(s): Genesis 49God has a plan for His people, that He will fulfill it, and in that, there is a call for the people of God to stick to the plan! Jesus is the plan. 

Genesis 39:20-40:23Because God is with us, we can and we must stay faithful in times of trouble.
