Ryan Bundy was indicted on conspiracy and other allegations, accused of rallying militia members and armed supporters to stop federal officers from carrying out a court order and impounding the cattle.  Later, U.S. District Judge Gloria M. Navarro dismissed the prosecution, citing "flagrant misconduct" by prosecutors and the FBI in not disclosing evidence before and during the trial. Judge Navarro sited six types of evidence that was withheld by the prosecutor and ruled that each was violation was willful. In this Timelines Meet the Voter episode, we interview Mike Clark who is running for reelection to Washoe County Supervisor. In November of 2014, Mike was elected as the Washoe County Assessor and was sworn into office in January of 2015. In his three years in office, he has successfully implemented an open door, taxpayer-friendly environment as evidenced by a nearly 50% reduction in the number of property tax appeals filed this year compared to his first year in office.

This was our first Saturday morning "Meet The Voter" breakfast. It was held on June 16th, at the Atlantis Casino in Reno, Nevada. In this Meet The Voter, Ray gathers your question and interviews our congressman, Mark Amodei.

Dan is a Silver Sponsor but we were unable to fit in a Timelines of Success or Meet The Voter interview but he has promised us that after the election we will get together. We have gone ahead and put Dan's presentation was on Tuesday, May 31, 2018, to the RMC.

Craig is up from Las Vegas and we are in the Peppermill Casino for this interview. Born in Las Vegas, he is a Native Nevadan. After high school, he headed to the east coast to enter the Naval Academy (Go Army! Beat Navy!) The Army-Navy Game has made a lasting impression on Craig.

Brent did not win the election but he was an excellent candidate with solid conservative principles. 

Mike ran a good campaign and won his primary Washoe County Assessor. There those who were playing tricks on Mike but he fought through them running a great campaign and he won. 

Including primaries and general elections, Sharron Angle has won 11 of 14 elections. Overall, she is a winner! She is an RMC Silver Sponsor and it was a pleasure to have her on Meet the Voter and Timelines. Sharron served in her first elected office in 1992 when she was elected to the Nye County School Board. Sharron and Ted, her husband, then moved back to Reno where she served from 1998 to 2006 in the Nevada State Assembly. Today Sharron is the author of 3 books and owns a small business in Reno.

Gary Schmidt moved his entertainment concert company to Washoe County in the early 70's where he produced "Labor Day Music and Arts Festival" in 1973 at T-Car Speedway featuring the Doobie Brothers that drew over 30,000 in attendance. In 1990 Hopkins was hired by the Washoe County Sheriff's Office where he attended High Sierra Law Enforcement Academy. In 1993, he was transferred to the Patrol Division of the Washoe County Sheriff's Office where he worked until 1997 as a D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) Officer, G.R.E.A.T. (Gang Resistance Education And Training) Officer and one of the first CLO (Community Liaison Officers). In 1999 Hopkins was promoted to Patrol Sergeant. As a Patrol Sergeant, he ran teams, leading them through new policies and procedures. This position allowed him to instill the compassion and values in others necessary to make our jails and community safer.

Balaam began his career as a property clerk assigned to the Washoe County Detention Facility in 1993. From 1994 onward, he served as a Deputy Sheriff, working in Sheriff's Office Operations, Administration, and Detention Bureau, earning all ranks up to that of Chief Deputy of the Operations Bureau.
