Job considered his righteousness to be the key to his plentifulness. After he lost everything he insisted God treated the unrighteous better than the righteous. Job: chapter 27 and chapter 29 Does my unrighteous deeds deserve God's Favor? When I receive a famine during the times of my righteous acts, am I being punished? Or, should I consider how God rains on the Just and the Unjust, and know, I MUST be GRATEFUL in times of safety and in times of trouble... ~Cory Cabri

The more knowledge I have, the more comfortable I am with making decisions apart from God. The more uncomfortable I am with knowledge apart from God, the more I depend on Him. ~CoryCabri

My ties to God are strictly relational; it's not, however, based on some historical data!   'All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. ' 2 Corinthians 5:18-20
