Majoring in Chaos

In this episode Jason and his roommates are back with another episode about how their missions have prepared to take on their college educations in their respected studies and majors. In this episode, Jason and Chase both speak on their experiences while serving in the Washington Seattle Mission under the direction of a Mission President who still makes an impact on their lives today. Along with Dallin and Issac, we get to hear from them about how they have worked hard on their missions and what makes them the students they are today. In this Episode, Jason speaks with a former missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Provo, Utah. They sit down across the street from the Missionary Training Center where they both started their missions learning basics of teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. While talking to Landon Godbold we hear his perspective of his mission and we hear how he had a unique experience while serving in the Washington Seattle Mission. We also express the huge need to do what is needed to prepare for missions or to continue your discipleship while in College. In this episode, Jason sits down with Jack and Dallin to discuss the chaotic life of college and their daily efforts to live a life centered on their Savior, Jesus Christ.We dive into the questions that have plagued us recently, but also share how we’ve found peace and comfort amidst our trials. We reflect on how we’ve discovered peace even in the chaos of being young disciples in these Latter-day Saints.While we acknowledge our struggles, we offer encouragement to one another by emphasizing the importance of making time for the scriptures. We highlight how BYU-I provides a structured schedule each week to listen to speakers who guide us in becoming Disciples of Christ. Additionally, we share our thoughts on President Dallin H. I find myself having a one on one conversation with Dallin about the first date conversations as college students and it is quite interesting because Jason talks about some of the dates that he has gone on at BYU-I. All while Dallin sits and take in how he is living a better life after his new chapter in life because of the new relationship that has happened. Is it because of the BYU-I date nights or does the Mutual app get another win for a couple headed for marriage. We wish them the best and we look forward to the amazing things we learn from Dallin and Jason.

Jason and his roommates talk about their first semesters at Brigham Young University-Idaho and how they had some huge surprises about college life. Along with those surprises came the hard lessons that they had to learn while going to school. Listen to hear about why Daniel no longer buys ice cream.
