    St. Joseph Helpers is a nonprofit founded in Michigan, now expanding its reach to Kentucky. Their mission? Small home repairs—think grab bars in bathrooms, railings for steps, changing light bulbs, and replacing toilets. These basic upgrades make a huge difference for seniors and others who need a safer living environment.As Marty Brown explains, the ministry is built on volunteer work, insurance coverage for both clients and helpers, and partnerships with groups like the Lexington Senior Center and A Caring Place.
