    Most Unsettling Chain Emails

With the 2000s came a resurgence of chain letters via chat rooms and emails. The fear of facing the repercussions from not passing on a message to someone else forced them to spread the message to a huge mass of people. This was the reason for it to be popular among people during the initial years of social networking. Wordpress inspiration - 10 Creepy Chain letters – The Creepy CornerResearch and writing by AD HorrorAdditional writing, hosting and production by AliMusic is by Myuu Hosted on Acast. Solved: Homeschooling Horrors

Right now there’s remarkably little regulations in homeschooling. In ten states in the United States, homeschooling is completely unregulated. And in 15 more, parents only have to notify their school district that their kids will be learning at home. There are no minimum educational standards for teachers, no curriculum review, no testing or monitoring to make sure that any education is taking place at all. In the United States, approximately 4200 indigenous people go missing and are murdered. All unsolved. Although it is thought these numbers are way higher due to underreporting. We will get to that over the next couple of months. But even at the official numbers, these are alarming rates. Solved: Loved to Death

Break up violence is common in relationships that were physically abusive. According to the Mississippi Coalition Against Domestic Violence, “women in abusive relationships are about 500 times more at risk when they leave”. However, break up violence can occur even if there was no history of violence. The Ohio Violence Free Coalition has made a strong effort to inform parents about break up violence which is an ongoing issue  amongst teens and young adults. According to their studies, “a person is more likely to be seriously injured and killed after a break up. And in 20% of relationship homicides, the killing itself was the first act of violence”. If anything, I hope the tragic cases we will talk about this week will serve as a reminder to take extra safety precautions when dealing with a potentially violent ex. 4 Amy Wensley3 Heather Stamper2 James Barry1 Cristina ProdanFacebook /mysteriouslylistedTwitter @mysteriouslistMusic is by Myuu Hosted on Acast.
