New Testament Reading With Karen

Praying for deep sorrow and repentance of sin and for forgiven hearts that forgive others.

Praying for strength from God to not enter into temptation and to not live by the flesh.

Praying for the desire to treat others with love and dignity.

Praying for readiness and for sharing the gospel with others.

Praying for hating sin and hypocrisy and for humbleness.

Praying for love for God and others and for the desire to make Jesus the center of our lives.

Praying for faith in receiving what we ask in prayer and for more people to come to faith.

Praying for humility like Jesus' and knowing us as one of many for whom He gave His life.

Praying for seeing our impossibility and thankfulness for God's possibility.

Praying for thankful for being found and for testimony to the good Shepard who found us.

Praying for a rightful fear of God and humble obedience to Him.

Praying that we would live like Jesus and for steadfastness in trials.

Praying that our hearts would be righteous before God and that He would take away any sinful and unkind thoughts in us.

Praying that we would also pour out our burdens and sorrow to God and spend time alone with Him.

Praying for finding the pearl and responding with all joy and sacrifice.

Praying for strength to do God's will and see the reality of the offer of identity as children of God.

Praying for people to find rest in Jesus, and for us to tell others that we can all draw near to Him.

Praying for boldness to speak and confidence in the Holy Spirit speaking through us.

Praying for eyes to see the harvest around us and to labor for the harvest.

Praying for boldness to reach people, and praising God for this reality of people coming to faith from all over the world.

Praying for approaching our Father with boldness and confidence. Trusting that He is good.

Praying for humbleness, doing everything for the glory of God above anything else and above ourselves.

Shine as lights of the world! Praying for strength to do good works that give glory to God the Father.

Jesus was tempted by the devil, and He did not sin. Let us also ask for strength to stand firm in the Truth.

God is able to turn stones into living children of Abraham by faith!

Matthew 2 continues with the birth of Jesus before going into the start of his ministry in chapter 3. It also helps us to think about how we are living - choosing to be enemies of Jesus or His children?

Matthew 1 takes us through in a very succinct way who Jesus is and why he came. I pray that each of us listening would be filled with thanksgiving and with the desire to let others know of this good news as well.
