Letter to the Philippians | The Excellency of Knowing Christ |Pastor Craig | Sunday, March 1st, 2026
Rooted in Philippians 3:1–11, Pastor Craig continued our Strengthened by Joy series by exploring “The Excellency of Knowing Christ.” Writing from prison, the Apostle Paul contrasts works-based righteousness with the joy of a grace-filled relationship with Jesus, urging believers to “watch out” for distractions that pull us back into confidence in the flesh. Despite his impressive religious pedigree, Paul counts it all as loss compared to the surpassing worth of knowing Christ through experiential, transformational relationship—not just head knowledge, but heart-level surrender. We were challenged to examine where we place our identity—Position, Appearance, and Wealth—or in our true spiritual identity found in Christ alone. What would it look like for you to lay down your credentials and pursue the deeper, life-changing knowledge of Jesus this week?

Letter to the Philippians | Being Poured Out | Pastor Doug Brown | Sunday, February 22nd, 2026
This week’s message from Philippians 2:12–30 continues our Letter to the Philippians: Strengthened by Joy series with a sermon titled Being Poured Out. Pastor Doug explores how the Apostle Paul calls believers to “work out” their salvation—not working for it, but living from it—by emptying ourselves of pride, anxiety, and cultural distractions so we can be filled with Christ’s power and purpose. Through the examples of Timothy and Epaphroditus, we see what it looks like to shine like stars in the world: committed, connected, concerned for others, and willing to pour out our lives in service. The message also highlights how Jesus heals, restores, and empowers us as we actively partner with Him. What would change if you truly lived poured out—emptied of self and filled with Christ for the sake of others?

Letter to the Philippians | Jesus “Got” Attitude | Pastor Craig Lawrence | Sunday, February 15, 2026
In this message from Philippians 2:1–11, Pastor Craig continued our Strengthened by Joy series by exploring what it means to have the attitude of Jesus. Building on Paul’s call to live a life worthy of the Gospel, the sermon highlighted Christ’s model of humility—doing nothing out of selfish ambition, valuing others above ourselves, and embracing servanthood even in suffering. We saw how Jesus, fully God, did not cling to His status but humbled Himself to the point of death on a cross, and was ultimately exalted by the Father. This passage challenges us to cultivate a lifestyle of humility in our speech, decisions, and relationships, empowered by the Holy Spirit. Where might God be inviting you to exchange pride for Christlike humility and adopt the attitude that can truly change the world?
