Focusing on Isaiah 49 and Psalm 24, Tiffany Nesbitt opens up the directives for Newsong in 2024. At the close of 2023 and after careful study, as well as fasting and praying, the prophetic team submitted these directives to the elders, who believe they are timely for each Newsong church individually and as a whole. www.newsong.life

What should “the remnant” look like? Tiffany discusses two important characteristics and how they relate to the Lord’s favor and justice, like the dew and a lion. Chris Nesbitt calls the NewSong community back to the original vision of being a church which doesn’t just tolerate kids, but focuses on them, championing them into their prophetic destiny. With Numbers 13-14, Deuteronomy 2 and Mark 10:13-16 as his text, Chris draws parallels between the Israelites—who forfeited over to their children their right to the promised land, and the prophetic calling now on our kids to lead us into revival. 

Tiffany Nesbitt shares a prophetic word the Lord gave her at the end of 2022 which turns out to be part two from last week’s prophetic teaching on digging ditches. She addresses the significance of the seven mountains of societal influence, as seen through Ezekiel 36:1-15.

Jan 15 2023 — Prophetic word for NewSong from Tiffany Nesbitt: Time to Dig Ditches.Tiffany brings a prophetic word and teaching for NewSong on the immediate call to dig ditches to prepare for the water of the Spirit and the consuming fire of God. Like the men of Issachar, we must understand the times and know what to do in this hour. On the morning of Jan 15, 2023, Tiffany heard the Lord say: “Prepare for the fire — the fire of heaven is coming down.” What does that preparation look like? We can see the action steps of preparation taken by Elijah in 1 kings 18:he tells the people to come in close: calling up our brothers with boldness!he repairs the destroyed altar: restoring true worship!he digs a trench around the altar: risky faith!he soaks the altar with water: the move of the Holy Spirit!he sets up the sacrifice offering: an act of obedience. he prays in faith with no doubting!Last October, the Lord spoke these words to Tiffany: “Do not shrink back” (and from 2 Kings 3:15-18) “It’s time to dig ditches!”We believe God is now saying to our NewSong family:I want you to create spaces, places and containers for the water of my Spirit!Ask yourself this question: what does it look like right now to put my hand to digging ditches?As Spurgeon said: “God has promised it. We will get ready for it.”In Act 2 at the day of Pentecost, we see similarities to the Elijah story: They prepared, the fire fell, and many are turned back to God!May our ditch digging include intercession for our brothers and sisters in Christ who have struggled with double-mindedness, rebellion or busyness which keeps them from being all-in.

When it comes to faith, what does it mean to be dead? What does it look like to be presumptuous? And what is the result of being tested? In this message, Tiffany Nesbitt shares a rhema word for the NewSong family, followed by a prophetic word specifically for Faith House. In this study of the lives of Martha and Mary, Chris Nesbitt shares the parallels between these two sisters and the Bride of Christ: Mary representing who she was meant to be, and Martha representing who she tends to be. Tiffany Nesbitt also shares what the Lord has been impressing upon her heart in the last several weeks as it relates to intimacy with Jesus.

In light of the lives of Jacob and Esau, we as believers must consider the privileges and responsibilities associated with birthright. Tiffany challenges us to avoid the spiritual condition of despising the birthright while longing for the blessing, demonstrating through scripture that it’s the birthright which enables us to carry the blessing. Tiffany Nesbitt, NewSong, July 24, 2022.

Launching from Mark 1:14-15, Sara Stabe discusses the critical tie between the Kingdom now being present and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The implications of this truth should cause us to reconsider evangelism, discipleship and the overall mission of the church. The bottom line is that we must learn how to discern and participate with what the Spirit is doing in the world. Whatever He is engaged in, let’s join Him! Sara testifies to the effectiveness of discipleship and evangelism when we “stay in the story of people’s lives and see where God’s story intersects theirs.”

Have you recognized the time we’re in? Taking inspiration from the first six chapters of Joshua, Tiffany challenges us to embrace two prophetic keys to victory in this hour: The first is “come and die” and the second is thankfulness. Embracing these strategies positions us to become one-hundred-fold fruit bearers and to experience Christ’s resurrection power!

In 1 Samuel 15, we learn from the life of Saul the consequences of ignoring God's voice and direction. From this passage, Jason Anderson highlights the exchange between King Saul and the Prophet Samuel, demonstrating that the only way to be a disciple — to truly follow God — is to obey. The way of discipleship is obedience.

Amy Huerta shares testimony of how the Lord is bringing relational health and healing in her family after speaking to her in a dream about thoughts, mindsets, reactions and behaviors. From Romans 12:2 and 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, Amy exhorts us and calls us up into transformed minds and yieldedness to the Spirit in our relationships and communication.

Dustin and Nina recently moved to California in obedience to the Lord’s supernatural call on their lives. In this message, Dustin testifies about the steps of faith which he has taken in response to prophetic words. His study of Scripture combined with his unique humor bring a refreshing perspective regarding the gift of prophecy.

Jason Anderson from Newsong in Tucson AZ shares from his heart on the topics of Intimacy and discipline. He also addresses questions on Biblical judgement and God’s unchanging character. 

Matt and Jenna blessed us a few weeks ago by bringing testimony regarding their season as missionaries in Uganda. They candidly discuss tough topics including their decision to go, stories of some of the special needs kids they worked with, God’s faithful provision, the stressfulness of covid on the mission field, and their decision to come home. This humble family is a treasure in the Kingdom, and their story will challenge you and bless you in unexpected ways!

Catherine Erickson shares her word for the year for 2022 — WONDER! Teaching from Joshua 4 and 5, she then highlights the elements of rest, raising our faith level, and readiness for new marching orders. We also heard testimonies of physical healings which took place during our worship that morning — thank you Jesus!

Verne Nesbitt brings us a timely teaching on the basics of Eschatology — the study of the last days. As he introduces us to this topic, Verne first shares a bit of personal testimony and church history. He then briefly explains the pre-trib position, quickly shifting focus to the post-trib (but pre-wrath) position supported in scripture. This position is often called mid-trib, and is based on the understanding that believers will never have to face the wrath of God, as depicted by the 7 bowls. Yet they will, AND DO, face tribulation, as demonstrated by the timing given us in scriptures such as 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17. Lastly, Verne brings us a challenge to dive into the book of Revelation with the purpose of seeing Jesus.

Tiffany Nesbitt shares from Mark 1 a prophetic declaration about the kairos moment that is upon us as the body of Christ, highlighting seven distinct signs of being in an “open heaven” season: 1) fulfillment of prophecy2) corporate repentance and baptism 3) public revelation of Jesus4) declaring that the Kingdom is here5) increased harvest workers6) signs and wonders7) spiritual momentum

Chris Nesbitt teaches on God’s response to the times when we suffer from the enemy’s attack. Exploring the various kinds of attacks, Chris uses Daniel 3 to demonstrate what we face as believers and God’s promise in 1 Peter 5 to restore us, confirm us, strengthen us and establish us.
