In this podcast, "Daniel in the Lions Den," we see Daniel as a type of Jesus Christ. Daniel clearly shows the foreshadowing of Christ's suffering, death, and resurrection. The parallels are drawn between Daniel's unwavering faith, his enemies' inability to find fault, and miraculous deliverance. Jesus also lived a life of perfect obedience and integrity, facing false accusations, but remaining without fault. Daniel's superior abilities and character led to envy. The plots by his rivals mirrored the jealousy and opposition Jesus faced from religious leaders.

In this podcast, "Jonah as a type of Jesus Christ; the story of Jonah as you have never heard," we see Jonah as undoubtedly a type of Jesus Christ. Jesus himself referenced Jonah as a type of himself, and Jonah's experience in the fish's belly is a sign of his own fate. Jesus, when asked for a sign to prove his own identity, stated that the only sign he would give was the sign of Prophet Jonah. Jesus compared Jonah's three days and nights spent in the fish's belly to his own time in the tomb. Just as Jonah emerged from the fish, Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, symbolizing a new life and a victory over death.

In this teaching, "Elijah as a type of Jesus Christ; the Compassionate life of Prophet Elijah," we see a parallel between the actions of Elijah in the Old Testament and the actions of Jesus in the New Testament. For example: In 1Kings 17 tells about similar miracles performed by both Elijah and Jesus. Elijah in the Old Testament and Jesus in the New Testament. Elijah is sent to a widow in Zeraphath in a time of a great famine, where she and her son are on the verge of starvation, mirroring Jesus' feeding the multitude with a few loaves of bread and fishes. When the widow's son dies, Elijah prays and raises him back to life, foreshadowing Jesus' resurrection power. The widow initially doubts Elijah's ability to help them. But she ultimately trusted in God's power through him. It is similar to how people must have faith in Jesus Christ to receive his blessings.

In this podcast, "Solomon as a type of Jesus Christ; the One who's wisdom is greater than Samson's, informs us that King Solomon's reign was peaceful and similar to Jesus's rule. Solomon building of the Temple was the high point of his reign. Jesus will raise a Temple of Living People in whom God will dwell. The Queen of Sheba recognized that Solomon's success was due to God's favor and not his own abilities.

In this podcast, "Samson as a type of Jesus Christ; a story of betrayal and redemption" considers Samson as a type of Jesus Christ because of their similarities, and the way Samson foreshadowed Jesus' actions. Samson and Jesus were both born to parents who were told about them by an angel. Both were called to deliver God's people from bandage and had strength that came from the Spirit of God. They were both betrayed by people who they considered close to them. Samson's story points to Jesus as the true and better Samson who would succeed where Samson failed.

In this message from Rev. Dr. Samuel Gatukui Ndungu, "David as a type of Jesus Christ; Jesus wept," we find a number of striking similarities between David's weeping at the mount of Olives in 2 Samuel 15:30 and Jesus weeping over Jerusalem in Luke 19:14. Both events demonstrated the human experience of grief and the consequences of sin. Jesus is God's anointed king, and like David, Jesus was betrayed by those closest to Him. David was Israel's greatest king, and Israel became dissatisfied with him and let a wicked, immoral man, David's own son, Absalom, steal their hearts. Absalom committed treason under the guise of worship.

In this episode, "Joseph as a type of Jesus Christ: Into the Pit," we see Joseph as one person in the Old Testament who foreshadowed the life of our Lord Jesus Christ the most. The narratives parallel key aspects, including being falsely accused and betrayed by family members. Joseph is sold into slavery by his brothers, mirroring Jesus betrayal by Judas Iscariot; both were sold at the price of a slave and were made slaves. Joseph and Jesus both ultimately rose to power, where they were able to save many People. Even though Joseph's brothers intended evil, God used their actions to bring about greater good, demonstrating God's ultimate control over events, just as He did after the jews crucified Jesus.

"Moses as a type of Jesus Christ; the Deliverer" shows that Moses's life foreshadowed the life of Jesus Christ, the ultimate Deliverer. God spoke to Moses from a burning bush and told him to save His people. Moses, seeing the oppression of his own people, gave up his position and honor on the Egyptian throne to associate himself with his Hebrew brothers. Jesus did the same for us! Jesus, like Moses wanted to Deliver His people, and that meant being like them. His love for us led Him to give up His position over the throne of the entire universe and He was made a man.

There are a number of striking and significant parallels between Isaac and Jesus that demonstrate that Isaac was a type of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice. Paul wrote, "By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac. Abraham believed that if he sacrificed his son, Isaac, God would raise him from the dead, "accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead. He, however, did not know that in his mysterious event, God was telling another story through Isaac.
