    # 21 Ongoing Conflict Part 2: Find Peace, Set Boundaries & Stop Avoidance

Are you still dealing with ongoing conflict—even after trying to address it? In Part 2 of this series on ongoing conflict and conflict resolution, we go deeper into what it looks like to walk in peace when a situation doesn’t fully resolve the way you hoped. Avoiding conflict may feel like temporary relief… but it actually prolongs your stress. Over time, this avoidance can negatively impact your emotional and even physical health—leading to overwhelm, anxiety, and mental exhaustion. Sis, unresolved conflict doesn’t go away—it builds. In this episode, I revisit key truths from Part 1 and expand on how to approach relationship conflict with wisdom, clarity, and a Christ-centered mindset. I also break down how most conflicts carry the same DNA—even when the people and circumstances are different—and how recognizing those patterns can help you respond differently. ✨ In this episode, we talk about: Why avoiding conflict increases emotional stress and affects your health How most conflicts share common patterns (the same “DNA”) How to prepare yourself before having a difficult conversation Asking yourself: Do I want to vent, or do I want resolution? Biblical steps for resolving ongoing conflict using Matthew 18:15-18 How to decide what to address vs. what to release How to move forward in peace after you’ve done your part The power of forgiveness and letting go of offense After you have prayed, assessed the situation, and done your part to address the conflict, you are faced with a decision: Will you continue to carry it… or will you release it? Forgiveness doesn’t mean you agree with what happened—it means you are choosing peace over offense. You don’t have to stay stuck in cycles of stress and unresolved conflict. There is a better way—and it starts with clarity, obedience, and surrendering the outcome to God. 💛 Ready to go deeper? #17 Stress Overload or Mental Health Crisis? How to Know When It’s Time to Get Help

Are you on the verge of a mental health crisis — or are you experiencing stress overload and don’t know the difference? In this sensitive yet empowering episode, we talk honestly about high stress levels, emotional overwhelm, and mental health warning signs through a faith-based lens. Before we begin, I gently encourage you to pause, pray, and invite the Holy Spirit into this moment — and if you’re not feeling mentally well, consider listening with someone you trust. We explore why regular check-ins with the Holy Spirit are essential for tracking our emotional and mental health, drawing from John 14 and John 16, where Jesus reminds us that the Holy Spirit is our Advocate, Guide, and Helper — never leaving us to manage life alone. You’ll learn: The clear difference between stress overload and a mental health crisis Signs your stress is high but still manageable Warning signals that indicate it’s time to seek immediate support Why prayer alone is not a substitute for community, counseling, and rest Practical, faith-aligned steps to get help without shame We also discuss healthy next steps, including reaching out to trusted support, Christian counseling, church community, rest, and creating a clear plan to address your stressors. Sis, needing help does not mean you are weak — it means you are listening. Grab your coffee, put on your headphones, and let’s slow down, check in, and invite God into your healing. #6 Healing From an Emotionally Damaged Mother (Part 2)

There are many times in life when relationships don't go well. This is particularly true when it comes to our moms. We do not have to stay in a place of pain and heartache or disappointment. It is time to heal so we can move on with life in an emotionally healthy way.  In this episode, I share my two non-negotiables when it comes to healing emotional wounds. We do not have to, and if I have a say so we will not walk around hurting, unhealed, and disappointed in life because of the unhealthy parenting we were exposed to. This is not a judgment of our moms. It is saying enough and it is time for me to move on and heal so that I can show up in life the way God truly intended. Looking forward to connecting with you.  As always, your review helps me reach the first few pages of the Apple Podcast. Production will get better as I get better, Promise!
