We were made a new creation when God placed us in Christ and indwelt us with his Holy Spirit.  The flesh was set aside so that we no longer have to live in it.  We  can now yield ourselves to His Spirit and God can work in and through us.

Cass begins a study on Eschatology, a study of the last days.  Here, he begins the foundation for this very important study.

In the Old Testament, they did not understand the mystery of Christ.  It was not revealed to them, but it is revealed to us now.In Genesis, God had a plan and it was that He created man in His own image.  Man could have perfect fellowship with God and could walk with God, talk with God, interact with God and live forever.  Satan's plan/work is to get man to rebel against God's plan.

What took place the moment you realized you were a sinner and trusted in what Christ did for you on the cross by dying for your sins.  Grace is what we do not deserve.  We are placed in Christ and have access to His grace.

The mystery is Christ in you.  Being placed into Christ is identifying with his death and resurrection.  Which means that we are dead to our old self and alive to a new life - Christ in and through us.

Cass explains the adoption and what it means to be Son Placed.  He shows examples in scripture of what it is and how it should affect our lives.  He talks about the process of being adopted and discusses election, foreknowledge and predestination.  He shows how God has chosen us to a position, not to salvation according to His foreknowledge.

Pastor Cass shows that Communion was God's plan all the way from the beginning.  He shows throughout scripture how the bread represents the promises and the wine the judgment.

What takes place when someone understands the gospel and believes?As believers, we have been placed in Christ.  Cass explains what that means.

We are to persuade men to trust what Christ has done for us rather than trying to persuade God that He should accept us because of what we have done.
