John 20:1-10. Belief is expressed in confidence that God will fulfill His promises beyond human logic.

Exodus 20:8-11. Keeping a day holy for God is about enjoying rest in Him by demonstrating trust in the provisions of God.

Galatians 6:1-5. Peace is achieved as those who recognize their own faults reach out to those who have stumbled and fallen spiritually.

1 Chronicles 18:14-17. God is glorified when His people practice justice and equity in obedience to God.

Matthew 15:29-31. God is glorified as His people minister to others by proclaiming the Gospel while caring for their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs.

Isaiah 43:16-28. Living in the newness of life that God has created for His people is to live in expectation of His power, true worship in all that is done, and understanding of complete forgiveness.

Various passages explain why I do the things I do each day to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 12:1-6. Celebrating God’s presence allows the world to see the peace and joy that is absent from their lives.

John 14:1-11. Christ has promised eternal presence with Him where He is for all who believe on Him.

1 Timothy 2:1-7. The number one priority of the life of God’s people is to promote the name of Jesus through praise, proclamation, and teaching.

1 Peter 2:13-17. Honoring God politically is to trust God’s control in all things, His care for His people who are impacted, and commands that bring praise to Him when His people obey them.

Deuteronomy 31:1-8. Those who are following God’s leading have no reason to fear what awaits them tomorrow.

Malachi 1:6-14. Honoring God is to recognize His greatness and view good things received as instruments to be use for His glory in ministering to others.

Luke 6:46-49. People with know the Lord through study of His Word, obedience to His Word, or in His judgment against their rebellion.

Romans 5:1-5. Those who are in Christ have peace with God, access to His grace, and hope of glory which should be the cause of their joy in spite of their circumstances.

Hebrews 10:11-25. Christ has opened the way for people to commune with God through His shed blood for the forgiveness of sins.

Psalm 139:1-12. God’s inescapable presence should comfort those who love Him, but should terrify His enemies.

1 Peter 1:1-9. Faith is protected in God’s people by His power, refined through troubles, and seen in consistent belief of those who claim Christ as Savior and Lord of their life.

Matthew 28:16-20. The disciple of Christ publicly proclaims His lordship over them and teaches others to obey by example and word for the growth of God’s kingdom here on earth.

2 Timothy 4:19-22. God’s people all have their place in life they serve individually, even though they would prefer to serve together, in their spirit by the grace of God.

2 Timothy 4:9-18. Christ is the only One who is constantly with a person to heal the hurt caused by others, strengthen when abandoned by others. and provide help through others.

2 Timothy 4:1-8. Knowing all will be judged by God should be enough motivation to serve Him and for believers to prepare others to take their place to continue ministering as they go home to be with the Lord.

2 Timothy 3:1-17. Those in the body of Christ cannot act like the world, but must acknowledge God’s working in and through them while keeping all knowledge gained in perspective of the Gospel of Christ.
