I recently had the opportunity to speak at Own Your Faith Ministries in Santa Clarita, CA. Pastor Phil Allen has become a dear friend and ministry partner as we seek to enhance the spiritual vitality of the Body of Christ in the Santa Clarita Valley. This message is addressing the Unity of the Body of Christ as it relates to racial solidarity and the Churches strategic role to model unity to a divided world.

Cities are a focal point of God’s redemptive plan throughout scripture. The storyline of the New Testatment centers around Jesus going to die in Jerusalem, the religious capital of the world, and the Apostle Paul going to die in Rome, the political capital of the world. If we are to connect to God’s work to reach the greatest number of people in our lifetimes, our work must be connected to cities. We are all grieved by the horrific shooting in Parkland, Florida. On Wednesday evening my wife, Debra, and I hosted an impromptu Facebook Live prayer gathering to intercede for those who have been traumatized and are grieving the loss of loved ones. When my granddaughter, Zoe, was two years old we sat down and recorded the Christmas Story from Luke 2. The result was a tender and moving telling of the Christmas Story through a Child's Voice. I invite you to listen to this recording and share it with others.
