In Revelation 21, the holy city, New Jerusalem, is completely clear and transparent. Scripture describes it as pure gold, like clear glass (v.18), shining with a light like a jasper stone, clear as crystal (v.11), and even its street is pure gold, like transparent glass (v.21).
