Of course, God calls all Christians to be kind, but there is a particular glory and beauty unique to a feminine kindness. How can we live in a way that models God's kindness, and not the twisted view we find in our culture?

In our culture, you hear the phrase 'me-time' thrown around a lot, especially when it comes to mothers. The culture has strong expectations that the needs of the mother and the needs of the children must be held in a precarious balance, a tit-for-tat, a neverending battle. This can create a relationship of competition and hostility between parents and children where they are played off each other.   The Bible however, has a different idea of rest to our culture. It's called a Sabbath - and it was given to mankind as a gracious gift from our heavenly Father.
