Prisons and Palaces

Life has both prisons and palaces — seasons of pain and seasons of plenty. But the same truth of Jesus transforms them all. Prisons and Palaces dives into the real side of faith — the parts we don’t always talk about in church. Because some people live in palaces but still feel imprisoned, and only Jesus sets us free.PJ is a Colorado Native and Tulsa transplant.

    Denying the Call

In this episode, we’re unpacking a message I shared recently called “Denying the Call.” You know that question we all wrestle with — “Do I have what it takes?” Sometimes it’s not about having what it takes at all… it’s about whether we’re even listening. In John 21, Peter thought his story was over. He went back to what was familiar because he couldn’t see or hear what Jesus was still doing in his life. Maybe that’s us too — still called, but too distracted or discouraged to notice. Let’s talk about what it looks like when Jesus meets us right there — not to shame us, but to call us back into the story we were meant to live. Please, subscribe and share!Music: “With the Greatest Will” by Taizo Audio, used under Creator License #8045855

    The Cost of Discipleship

Jesus never hid the price of following Him. In this episode, we confront the tension between comfort and commitment, and why discipleship that costs nothing ultimately produces nothing. To follow Christ is to surrender control, not just agree with Him.

Hevel | Life Is A Vapor

If life is a vapor, why do we live like it’s permanent? This episode exposes the danger of delay, false security, and wasted time—and calls us back to urgency, faithfulness, and eternal perspective. God wants us all to wake up and see the goodness that He has given us and that we would enjoy it while we are here! Fruitless Figs

A garden is a place of expectation. You plant, you water, and you wait. But what happens when the season for harvest comes and the branches are bare? In Luke chapter 13, Jesus tells a jarring story about a fig tree that has taken up space without giving anything back. It’s a story about urgency, second chances, and the dirt beneath our fingernails. Today, we’re looking at what it means to be 'Fruitless Figs'—and why the Gardener isn't finished with us just yet. Please, subscribe and share!Music: “With the Greatest Will” by Taizo Audio, used under Creator License #8045855

    Grace that Gives

Paul points to the churches of Macedonia, who, “out of the most severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity.” They gave not only what they were able, “but even beyond their ability,” first giving themselves to the Lord. This episode explores how grace doesn’t lower the bar—it raises the heart. True grace produces willing, sacrificial obedience, not reluctant generosity. Please, subscribe and share!Music: “With the Greatest Will” by Taizo Audio, used under Creator License #8045855

    Night Blindness

Jesus warns that it’s possible to have light available and still live in darkness. In Luke 11:33–36, He confronts the danger of distorted vision, when the eye is unhealthy and the whole life follows. This episode examines how spiritual blindness doesn’t come from a lack of light, but from how we receive it.Please, subscribe and share!Music: “With the Greatest Will” by Taizo Audio, used under Creator License #8045855

    Beatitudes | Pt. I

In the Beatitudes, Jesus redefines blessing from the ground up. Poverty of spirit, mourning, and meekness aren’t weaknesses to escape, they’re the soil where the Kingdom grows. In Part 1, we explore how Jesus confronts our instinct for self-sufficiency and invites us into a posture of dependence that actually leads to life. Please, subscribe and share!Music: “With the Greatest Will” by Taizo Audio, used under Creator License #8045855

    The Beatitudes | Pt. II

The Beatitudes aren’t passive statements, they describe a formed life. Hunger for righteousness, mercy, purity of heart, and peacemaking reveal what God is producing in those who follow Him. In Part 2, we look at how blessing is tied to formation, perseverance, and becoming the kind of people who reflect the Kingdom in a resistant world. Please, subscribe and share!Music: “With the Greatest Will” by Taizo Audio, used under Creator License #8045855

    Unmarked Graves

Have you considered that you could be one of the bad people? What if your lack of movement was an indicator that you are just as hypocritical as those who are "playing church." Little did you know you were playing too! Luke 11 lets the audience know where they stand with Jesus: either alive in Him or just an unmarked grave. New Phone, Who Dis?

Luke 13 is a rough one... the question that we are presented with is, will Jesus say that He knows us to the Father. You Too Grown

In Luke 18 and 19, Jesus contrasts childlike trust with self-reliance. This episode confronts the question many believers avoid: have we matured in faith, or just grown comfortable without dependence on God? You Too Grown challenges us to examine whether we still trust Him or simply know enough to move on without Him.Please, subscribe and share!Music: “With the Greatest Will” by Taizo Audio, used under Creator License #8045855
